On the way out the door of a mortgage lender with a cardboard box and your plant, you sometimes come up with a real gem of wisdom

Kind of a sad one... From the American Home Mortgage blowup:

“You don’t think you’re in the slaughterhouse, and then suddenly something hits you on the back of the head and
you find yourself rolling down the conveyer belt"

- Frank Caltabellotta, 42, of West Islip, an appraisal specialist who was laid off by American Home Mortgage

That's actually pretty funny, in a dark way.

Yes, that sentiment will be shared by all the sheeple over the next few years when their mortgage resets, foreclosure comes a knocking, retirements evaporate, cars a repossessed etc, etc, etc. We are starting to descend past the rim line and into the depths of this financial black whole and lose what little daylight is left.

Just like when the GOP evil-empire bush-regime wackos took over America by lies with mass-media deception. The world's larget cult of criminals became in control of America at the blink of an eye.

It's a great quote... but it's not original. It's from The Jungle by Upton Sinclair.

I have been talking to these people for a while now, and they have been telling me they are fine no problems here we don't need to change our IT hardware profile we are going to expand. Seriously, and I am sitting there saying you don't want to sell off some servers, and network architecture, you want to buy you are the only company like this.

Here is my email to them from 5/2:

Good talking to you this morning, and hopefully your company continues to grow unlike the companies out here in California that I been helping get rid of their servers and network architecture to scale down and get some money for it. Like I stated on the phone we are hardware brokers and we buy and sell and trade or rent out new and used equipment for Sun, Cisco, HP, and IBM hardware, and their peripherals and parts.

Then this email from last month:

Just checking in to see if there isn't something I might be able to help out with? We have not talked in a couple of months and I was wondering if there was any inventory you needed to sell, or you would like to see my pricing on expansion or upgrade projects? I believe I remember you saying that your company was bucking the trend and not affected by the real estate down turn last time we talked, I hope it is still the same. If anything has changed feel free to contact me and I will see what I can do to assist or help.

Now they are gone...just goes to show you people working at these companies have no clue, and the drop is fast and sudden, and they honestly believe that everything is fine.

Notice how these companies must literally dump the workers, providing them nothing - it's shameful.

Many of these people have mortgages
also, houses they will now loose.

Mean while, the war is costing us
roughly 12-billion a month.

Thats a keeper!

Maybe if AHM's appraisals were better, the company would still be around.

The silver lining to the upcoming wallstreet pummeling is that the evil neo-cons that are in power today, you know, the ones behind the Iraqi war of choice, and the ones that totally removed any regulatory oversight into all the easy lending standards of the last 6 years; will be thrown out on their heads in 08, and hopefully eradicated from the US forever.

Then and only then can the healing begin, as you see; the cancer must be cut out in order for the patient to heal. Remove the cancer, and the patient stands a chance, leave that cancer and the patient may die. Your choice!!! LOL

Another gem from the article:

Shawn Nuzzo, 31, a loan sales coordinator, said he sensed a shift in the market late last year.

“Basically, the guy who puts no money down has a big incentive to walk away when interest rates go up,” Mr. Nuzzo said. “That started happening, and we made some adjustments. But obviously it was too little, too late.”

Hey Shawn, ever heard the phrase "MENE, MENE, TEKEL, and PARSIN"??

Hilariously, a CNBC interview with one of those guys had him complaining that the coffee service was removing the machines from the break rooms before the CEO sent out that email. So the coffee guy knew they were losing their jobs before the employees did. That's management.

I have been buying servers on e-bay for the small company I work for. Pennies on the dollar...
When the boiler room sales guys call I can hardly keep from laughing.

I'm afraid that it has metasticized, Hillaryanoma is forming on the brain. I hope everyone here realizes that it doesn't matter how hard a new President tries they still need backing from the House and Senate.

There are too many Politicians that need to be thrown out. We need to vote out every incumbent, every time. This will throw the lobbies out of whack long enough for us to get some semblance of some meaningful legislation done.

-End The War
-Alternative Energy
-End Illegal Invasion
-Spending
-Outsourcing

Not enough good men running for Congress to throw the current crop out.

Get Ron Paul in first. We can turn Congress around from there.
