As predicted by HP, laid-off homebuilder illegals now fleeing housing-crash-central Arizona in droves. What's that giant sucking sound now?

Gotta love the folks who didn't understand that the housing bubble and illegal immigration were linked at the hip.

If you're still in that camp, hopefully this article will make you understand.

Illegals built the houses. Some illegals bought the houses (using toxic loans of course). And now that the corrupt REIC work has dried up, and home prices are falling, plus the states are making it illegal to hire an illegal, we've got a big stinking mess on our hands.

Will they stay, go underground, and turn to lives of crime?

Will they go home, leaving ghost towns of run down neighborhoods, empty Wal-Mart stores, and a sea of foreclosures?

Or will they rob the banks on the way out (Countrywide and Indymac of course), doing cash-out refis with bloated appraisals, never intending to pay back the loans?

What a mess. Ay caramba. Here's a report from housing-crash and illegal-immigration-hellhole Phoenix Arizona.

New hiring law nears, migrants flee
Immigration hard-liners cheer, but economic fallout begins

Undocumented immigrants are starting to leave Arizona because of the new employer-sanctions law.

The state's strong economy has been a magnet for illegal immigrants for years. But a growing number are pulling up stakes out of fear they will be jobless come Jan. 1, when the law takes effect. The departures are drawing cheers from immigration hard-liners and alarm from business owners already seeing a drop in sales.

Some are moving to other states, where they think they will have an easier time getting jobs. Others are returning to Mexico, selling their effects and putting their houses on the market.

Adrian, a 34-year-old undocumented immigrant from Sonora, plans to move back to Mexico as soon as he can sell a 2-acre tract he owns in Tonopah.

Adrian said his sister also is selling her house with plans to return to Mexico. He knows other undocumented immigrants who are refinancing their houses and getting cash out so they can return right away rather than waiting for their houses to sell.

KEITH, GET REAL.

THE LAW WILL BE NEGATED BY A COURT, HAS MAJOR LOOPHOLES, OR WON'T BE ENFORCED.

Sure. Good luck with those home refis in a down market in a bubble bust city.

Maybe Greggy Swan Dive will have to get out now as well? Wait, even c*ckroaches can survive a nuclear fallout.

Keith, I hope they use tax dollars to bailout Adrian, his sister and his illegal friends. I mean, I really can't think of anything better to use our tax $ on, can you?

Or how about a trade off, how about the government stop giving what little $ they already give to the public education system and start giving this to the illegal FBs.

These business owners quoted in the article need to try running a business that does not depend on criminals for employees or customers.

Mexico's main industries are: cash inflow from illegal workers in America, tourism, oil and mining. Agriculture just isn't lucrative.
Fewer jobs for illegal workers in U.S. (mostly Mexican decent) means fewer US dollars into Mexican economy. China has been kicking Mexico's ass in terms of being the preferred manufacturing provider for U.S. companies. What to do?
Send more Cancun tourism brochures to the Europeans?

Illegals might be leaving Arizona-
BUT NOT Los Angeles. This city is full of putos everywhere, driving without licences, free public schooling, crime rates soaring- ITS the biggest mess I've ever seen.

The funny thing, is that American troops invaded Iraq and meanwhile Mexicans invade America while Bush does nothing and even encourages this!

All this and a new record of 110 F days this year!
Central AZ = Hell.

Don’t think for a minute that the congressional committees on banking, finance, immigration etc. didn’t see this coming.

The determination to put all of these invaders on a path to citizenship was all too obvious.

It is also happening in N.W. Ark.

"block the law on the grounds that it is unconstitutional"

WTF? Oh that I'd like to see.

"Your honor, we (the "businesses" that rely soley on cheap, un-documented labor (and customers) for our very survival move that you IMMEDIATELY strike down this law!"

I especially like the "shoot yourself in the foot" (when taking matters into your own hands)!

Well, if Arizonans don't take this matter into "their own hands" WhoTF WILL!? Same old tired logic, same old BS arguments.

How much did you want for that land in Tonopah? You know, I've always... liked Tonopah...

How did these folks learn to game the system by re-fi'ng and walking? Where did they learn that, and how did the "practice" spread and gain such mainstream acceptance so quickly? Hmm...

Sounds like a real commitment to your new host country now doesn't it?

I still don't understand why people have such a hard time understanding the meaning of 'Illegal'?

How do you say 'What the F**K' in espanol?

Anonymous said...

Any banker dumb enough to loan money to someone in the country illegally should be fired then jailed.

Markus Arelius said...

How do you say WTF in espanol?

"Mexico's main industries are: cash inflow from illegal workers in America, tourism, oil and mining."

You left out the $20-$30 billion a month their economy receives from drug sales. Most of the meth entering the U.S. now comes from factory labs in Mexico.

LBJ allowed some immigration supposedly to head off a revolution down there. He was afraid of millions of refugees streaming across the border. Thirty years later we have exactly that problem -- every year. And now that U.S. businesses and politicians have been corrupted by cheap labor and illegal voters, we are headed for a reckoning not unlike the 1860s.

Can you say civil war?

Tougher laws in AZ and OK are sending the illegals to other states, not so much back to Mexico. They have an extensive migration route in and around Coastal Carolina with a network of safe houses, forged documents and employers. They earn their passage as mules for the coyotes by agreeing to carry drugs to places like Myrtle Beach and Charlotte via safe houses in Savannah and Beaufort.

The South East is prominent on their cartoon map guide showing them where to go for safe houses, forged documents and such. These coastal areas are heavily populated with illegals and the citizenry is oblivious to the long term damage. Blinded by greed and cheap labor, they have yet to figure out why area hospitals have a major baby boom taking place.

Fire up the big Mexican trucks. Looks like Bush is getting his way on one of the last NAFTA elements.

That is, Mexican trucks can freely pass over the border starting this labour day weekend.

So much for the war on terror. They just about truck in anything now.

Watch them build the big fence now.

Well, it's hard to say what effect this new law will really have over the long term.

Our economy is too dependant now on
the pool of illegal workers.

We've really become more of a 3rd-world country - with a nice face-lift.

Looks like its time for our recently released ex-convicts to fill their proper niche in our economy.

(I can dream can't I?)

"Tougher laws in AZ and OK are sending the illegals to other states,.."

And this is will cause the country to go into shock. TX, OK, AZ, and especially CA have had to deal with this problem for years and have an infrastructure built to deal with it-- ei bi-lingual education, bloated state budgets for prisons, probation, law enforcement, pre natal and post natal assistance, uninsured motorists, and lack of private health insurance.

The true impact of the illegal immigration boom/bust will be felt in the states where this is a more recent phenomena.

I believe the trucking debacle is the beginning of the end.

Earlier, the big tractor-trailer companies were hiring corporate retreads, people over 48 who're laid off from the Fortune 1000 and considered too old for other entry level corporate work. Studies have shown that these retreads were highly conscientious and made for responsible transporters.

Now, it's a road warrior landscape for anyone from Guadalajara-to-Yucatan to ravage the Eisenhower state thruways shipping either goods or personnel (and some criminal road gangs along with the law abiding laborers) all around the country. Folks, you'd better move to Canada before they shut the border.

I am sick to death of this BS. When the hell are the people in this country going to grow some NUTS and say enough the f#$k already.

Gee, Bush & GOP still want to import more poverty from Mexico. Go figure! I tell you what, vote for Giuliana or Mitt to really f*ck this country for good, because the secret society is not done with you sheeple yet. Poverty, corruption, phony wars and terror threats, outsourcing, skyrocketing deficit, bubbles, dollar in the toilette, global warming, turned into China bitches, Republican pervert officials doing gay XXX stuff in public bathrooms instead of working on important issues...and you vote those two idiots into office twice. You guys are a bunch of geniuses!!!

"(Herald) The percentage of U.S. residents living below the poverty line dropped slightly last year. But the Center for American Progress, a group that defines itself as "progressive," points out that in absolute numbers the 36.5 million U.S. poor are nearly 5 million more than five years ago.

The U.S. poverty rate is at 12.3 percent, a slight decrease from last year's but higher than five years ago, when it stood at 11.3 percent.

The number of U.S. residents without healthcare coverage has reached 47 million, an increase of 8.5 million over the past five years. A sizable part of the U.S. population living below the poverty line or lacking medical insurance is Hispanic.

While poverty among Hispanics dropped slightly last year, nearly 21 percent of U.S. Hispanics are still living in poverty, compared with about 8 percent of non-Hispanic whites, and about 10 percent of U.S. Asians. Only African Americans have higher poverty levels, with a 24 percent rate.

And Hispanics are by far the most likely to be uninsured: 34.1 percent of U.S. Hispanics lack medical coverage, compared with 20.5 percent of blacks and 14.9 percent of whites."

Illegals are leaving Arizona and going to the Carolinas, Utah, TN, MD, CO, etc...good luck to you all who live there!

Voted for Bush? Don't come crying now and enjoy your gazillion Mexicans blasting the stereo next door and all those POS vans in the front lawn. Don't forget to lock your car and home very well before leaving to work...hahaha...geniuses who vote with their feet.

Wait until all those millions of illegals get their hand on citizenships an voting registrations to start electing Latino crooks into offices, Congress, Senate, etc. It's already happening in other states. They will take over this country and open the border for good to get even more power. Buh-bye America, your days are counted thanks to the sheeple who can be manipulated very easily by special interest and secret societies.

This law going in to affect will be the catalyst that Phoenix and Arizona needs to improve in the long term. In the short term, hey we will lose some illegals that are buying products at Wal-Mart, living in a rental down the street making "fiesta" at 10:30 at night, and taking up my kids time while their teachers are forced to teach english to a bunch of third world "anchor babies" that they have to coddle because if they don't some idiot at the NAACP or those tards at LaRaza will say that the school violated their "civil rights".

Actual story: I work at a country club community. Their is a bathroom that the golfers use to freshen up when they are on the course. One day, there were some illegals that had come on property to clean up some trash and take away a dumpster. One of my guys was going to check on the bathroom to measure a phone outlet for a replacement when they looked on the side of the building, facing the Golf Course and caught an illegal taking a dump - in the open. We removed him and his friends from the property. When I was talking to the foreman he told me that it happens all the time, especially with the ones that just came from the border because of their third world habits. Apparently in Mexico their sewer system is so bad, that they don't even have working toilets. I cannot believe that they actually, literally Sh@t on us.....And as far as LaRaza and the others that think that this is still land owned by Mexico. I have a large piece of fabric, built by blood sweat and tears by American warriors that says otherwise. Not to mention the people that immigrated legally that are getting shafted as well.

I'm beginning to believe that AZ is ahead of the curve. This will be the right place to be when this corrupt system collapses.

It's not perfect, but there are some forward thinking libertarian people in government here.

They're coming to Louisiana. I used to live in Phoenix and when I first moved to Louisiana there weren't that many here. Now, they are everywhere. They all park on the grass in front of their apartments and don't understand how the garbage pick-up works. A majority of them don't have great skills so the work they do is shotty. Hopfully Jefferson Parish will get going on more regulations to keep the area nice (they've already banned illegal taco trucks).
