US Presidents should inspire the world. Man, we need a JFK today.

After six years of the worst, most incompetent and most hated president in US history, I thought you'd all enjoy a speech from one of the best.

Diggin' up the dead!

You dems need to get over Kennedy already!

Today he would be considered a conservative!

Ask not what your country can do for you........

sounds good in theory!

Back when JFK was in we made things here we could sell. We no longer have those industries to sell off and finance the future. Further, our government has massive debts and the general public is excessively debt-burdened also. Capital spending is falling because corporate America can see the potential for return here is declining. Haliburton knows the Treasury has been bled dry and has relocated to Dubai. More will follow. Last one out, turn out the lights...

No way in hell.

“I look forward to a great future for America - a future in which our country will match its military strength with our moral restraint, its wealth with our wisdom, its power with our purpose.”

Uhhh... no! President Bush defines success in America as high-tech jobs being outsourced to asia and Mobile-Exxon making $50 billion in profits while the middle-class disappears. Do you really think this is what JFK had envisioned from America?

That was a long time ago. This nation doesn't resemble that one in the least.

Watching JFK makes me realize how bad Bush truly is

was this before or after he banged marylin monroe?

Kennedy cut taxes and sent troops to two foreign countries. Hmmm who does that remind you of?

I just have one question for you -- Is our children learning?

well we could have another JFK, but how would he last? whenever the president gets out of line, he gets taken out....this has happened more than once in the united states....it is amusing in a way, that most americans feel there was a conspiracy to take out JFK....on that they can all agree.....but for some strange reason, they think this was a once and only case.....conspiracies have happened all through your national history and continue to this very day. people who want to control you and i have not suddenly fallen asleep after disposing of JFK....they are still with us, alive and well...it is just the next generation of them now......

not sure exactly why JFK was killed. i think it had something to do with killing the american conscious and doing some kind of number on our heads....and i believe it succeeded....

Probably the last president who truly made remarkable speeches time after time, with some credit given to Reagan as well.

It is rare that a President has an excellent speech writer AND says those speeches in a truly impassioned manner. Kennedy was one of those. I think FDR is probably my favorite for presidential speeches.

And then there's Bush. His speech writers stink, and he sounds like a bored Neanderthal trying to read them.

Obama has the same leadership and intensity that Kennedy possessed. Look at his fund raising efforts. 80-90% of all his contributions came from individuals not the big pork machines Hillary caters to.

Bay of Pigs...genius, absolute genius. Aside from bangig some tasty Hollywood ass, he was all sizzle and no steak. But he was a Democrap therefore he was perfect in the eyes of today's liberals.

James Buchanan has G.W. Bush beat, hands-down. We are a nation of pansies if this is a catastrophe. Read your history, then make balnket statements. I don't much care for him, but his place in history is not as #1 for any category.

My favorite GW video. Our President and a singer. Bet you never saw him sing Imagine. Eh? Click Here
My favorite JFK speech. Make’s me wonder what he knew that we all still don’t. Watch the Video Clip
P.S. He knew one thing. That it is time to end the private banker’s control of our dollar.

Thank goodness we have Ted as the standard barer for all that's good and moral!

Kennedy wanted a strong manufacturing base and a strong middle class. George Bush wants to destroy the middle class by outsourcing all good jobs to India and letting Mexican truck drivers in the U.S. to put the American truck drivers out of work.

Kennedy only allowed very limited U.S. presence in Vietnam and was planning to pull out completely. However, when was assassinated, the guy from Texas screwed everything up. Bush, another guy from Texas, will never ever admit to his great failure of invading Iraq, against the advisement of several experts including his own father, and destroying countless lives.

Don't even mention JFK and GWB in the same sentance!

it is strange isn't it how these men appear.......a year ago most people hadn't even heard of oboma yet now he is all the rage........who is this man? who is pushing his canidacy and why? voting is a waste of time anyway. if you take the time to notice, things never get better, they always get worse, no matter who gets elected.....i think the comedian george carlin said it best when he said the american dream can only be achieved when you are asleep....how true it is.....we just think we have some power by voting. we do not. elections come and go, and nothing of importance is ever accomplished. right and left, republican and democrat........what does it all mean? nothing imho...they are both the same and always have been. these parties and voting were created to make people in this country, think that somehow they have a choice...they do not.....the president is just a whore for the international bankers and the office has been that way at least for over a hundred years, maybe more.....it all started in earnest after the FED was created. From then on, it was downhill fast....

I agree! As a teacher, a parent, and as an American...I am embarrassed that our President speaks publicly so poorly.
How this man got into office, I will never know.

Wow. Those were the days when freedom was important.

I guess that got lost somewhere along the way.

Now it's, "Take care of me. Whine. Whine. Whine."

Guys. You think George Bush has all these "plans".

I'm afraid he doesn't go that deep.

What you are seeing, with the scandals and incompetence is an administration without good leadership. It's every man for himself.

Just look at this housing situation. We've been sounding the alarm for almost 3 years now and no one has been listening.

Where are all the geniuses in charge? I'm afraid, there are none.

Oh I see how this works:

Kennedy cuts taxes: he does it to help manufacturing

Bush cuts taxes: he does it to destroy manufacturing

Kennedy sends troops to Vietnam: he is doing it for the good of the country

Bush sends troops to Iraq: he is doing it to hurt the country

Kennedy puts his brother in as AG: no biggie, after all who better in as AG than someone you trust

Bush puts in a close friend as AG: it's cronyism of the highest level

speaking of leadership.......where has george bush been the last few years on this illegal alien situation? 30 million illegals can't be wrong?

kennedy was cut from the same cloth as george bush, but for some strange reason, he perhaps at some point in time, had a change in heart. he decided to do what was right for the people.......when this happened, he was of no further use to those that run this world....he was then removed....anytime a president, gets into office, it is by design......his job is to do what he is told.......sometimes they rebell against their masters........they actually begin to take their jobs seriously...when this happens, they are removed, one way or the other.......this has happened, several times in american history...all assassinations and removals, etc,......are not by accident..

the same thing can be said about any world leader.......it is the same....the world is a stage and the leaders of this world are actors in the great script that is laid out before us...nothing is real.......it is all a facade...it is not real.....everything you think you know, has to be reexamined....the internet is waking up many sleeping americans to these truths.....the net was invented to allow the ruling elites a way to control us better, but somewhere along the line, it got out of control......this cannot be allowed to continue.....slowly but surely it is allowing truth to be spread from place to place, blog to blog, etc...soon they will act to control this, the last of the free information frontiers..

Maybe you should have posted JFKs speech on secret societies and freedom of the press. The last 2 Presidential candidates were Yale Skull and Bones Members.THe American people will never again be given a choice for President that will benefit them over Corporate America and special interests.

Why? So he can make it even worse? If you look at JFK's record - the things he did as opposed to what he said - you'd find out that he was one of the most irresponsible presidents this country has ever had. The man was too busy running around chasing tail and vacationing to bother doing his job, even back to when he was a senator.

Kennedy's legacy has been whitewashed by time. Those of you old enough will remember that he wasn't that popular of a president and that the common opinion was that his father bought him the election in Illinois

Kennedy popped more pills than Limbaugh. He's be considered a neocon and warmonger by todays left.

Ahhh, but the rose colored glasses do enhance the romantic notions.

Have you ever watched some of JFK's press conferences? especially ones where he is in the hot seat, like after the bay of pigs? Kind of reminds me of bush.
