A time capsule of the greatest financial mania in the history of mankind, told in real-time by regular folks and patriots. May future generations better understand the madness of crowds, and how power and money corrupt.

Okay, what's the point?
Keith,
Great find and very timely.
From Glengarry Glen Ross, originally a play by David Mamet, if memory is correct.
A great cast and plot depicting the sordid pathetic Willy Loman, (low-man),type of hustlers and scumbags working the real estate industry.
Phoenix has a few hundred thousand of these chiselers in the form of REIC "professionals" who claim they are "helping" people realize the American Dream.
Its been a massive circle jerk here in AZ. but things have turned real ugly the past 6 months as the desperation level is rising.
Another great scene is when the home office general sales manager, played by Alec Baldwin, comes to their office to whip the losers into shape in a depressed market. Perhaps you can post that sometime as a reminder/public service to the realtor whores of their current and future fate.
Coffee is for closers.
Wasted my time.
GGGR is my all-time favorite movie. I've made numerous visits out to Sheepshead Bay in outer Brooklyn to see the site of the old office.
Best. Movie. Evar. And it's a comedy.
In all fairness, the "Coffee's for Closers" speech by Alec Baldwin should be here too.
This is a request and not a comment. What movie is this from? Could you name the movie in the comments here? I am curious, and, besides, it is polite to attribute things. Unless there some copyright-skirting reason not to, in which case I am sorry to have bothered you about it.
One of the most underatted movies ever.
Put that coffee down!
See this watch, it's worth more than your car! You $%^&*&)(*)!!!
No, that scene isn't happening all over America today...
1st prize is a brand new Cadillac Eldorado...
2nd prize is a set of steak knives...
3rd prize is you're fired.
The "Coffee's for Closers" speech by Alec Baldwin has already been on this blog before. Keith ran it a couple months ago.

Yep, then Greg Swan copied him.
Keith,
Most people have never ever heard of this movie. It might help to give some background in the future if you are going to post a clip from a completely unknown movie.
Funny timing, Keith.
Fox's animated series "King of The Hill" features a new episode tonight called "Glen Peggy Glen Ross". The synopsis is Peggy tries a career in real estate after she's fired from her job at the newspaper. Guest voices include Henry Gibson and Chris Elliott.
Should be funny, obviously inspired by the movie "Glengarry Glen Ross", a film about corrupt real estate agents operating in a declining bubble in New York.
