It all falls apart. The center doesn't hold. And the Bush White House implodes.

Can the country (or world) take much more of the Bush Administration? Will the US ever be able to dig itself out of the social and financial hole caused by this man, the worst president in the history of the United States of America?

You think it's bad now? Just wait until the apocalypse of the housing crash kicks in, combined with the Iraq debacle gaining steam. $1 Trillion for that "slam-dunk" Iraq and counting. Get those printing presses going.

Does anyone realize that Bush gave Presidential Medals of Freedom to Tenet, Greenspan and Bremer. Instead of medals, I'd be giving them subpoenas right about now.

In a letter written Saturday to former CIA Director George Tenet, six former CIA officers described their former boss as "the Alberto Gonzales of the intelligence community," and called his book "an admission of failed leadership."

The writers said Tenet has "a moral obligation" to return the Medal of Freedom he received from President Bush.

What did they say on the frontline doc - Tenet threw himself on the sword (i.e., let the CIA take blame for the war) for the medal of freedom

How does he sleep nights?

I guess comfortably on a matress filled with his book advance cash.

Keifer, you must be too young to remember Carter giving away the Panama Canal.

We will recover, and hopefully as something to be proud of. It all could have been avoided if certain people never voted for him in the first place.

Hope they're happy now.

At least Tenet is coming clean.

Drudge Reports rumblings from Democrats about Impeachment.

That would be a slam dunk, imo.

Mr. Tenet just told the American people what really happened and for that, I salute him...

Dick Cheney has a lot to come clean about.

Thank goodness for the Republicans. Without them how else would defense contractors and mercenaries eat? And prostitutes in DC would starve as well.

"ROSS: There are thousands of names, tens of thousands of phone numbers, and there are people there at the Pentagon, lobbyists, others at the White House, prominent lawyers — a long, long list, and as well, the women who work for the service, David, include university professors, legal secretaries, scientists, military officers."

If this actually develops into a scandal there won't be any Republican voters left by 2008, or at most just the ones too stupid to understand the concept of hypocrisy.

I am so ashamed of this country. This war is as immoral as the thieving liars who are running it.

Shit, if he and others like him have to give back their medals, the flood of returned medals from war criminals and crooks would flood the Whitehouse. Maybe they could melt them down to make aluminum siding for more condos in Vegas.

Tenet looked like a really bad used car salesman on his 60 Minutes interview....blustering and waving his arms around wildly.

To difficult questions, he made replies like "Oh come on now, Scott, how can you keep asking me that. Geez!".

It's not Bush so much as the Blood-lusting jewish neo-cons. Bush is to stupid inflict the kind of damage we've dealt out.

This country clearly did not learn anything from the twenties about excessive easy lending and easy debt policies. Even though the consequences were catastrophic indeed.

Second verse same as the first. You see, all that easy money has a price to be paid at the end of the day, and this bush built scheitt sandwich will be delivered up close and personal for all the sheeple to wit.

Pretty good for someone who got more votes than anyone in the history of the United States.

FNG's always think that everything they read, see, or hear is happening for the first time and, for them, it is.

Us OF's know better having been around to see the same-same happen again and again.

Missed the Carter years, eh pup?

I thought we got rid of Honica.

Keith, can you do something about it?

had enough empire said...

we need a military led coup, and clean house in DC.
70% of the country will cheer, and the rest(christian fundamentalists/neo con supporters) can be executed.

get rid of most of the democrats in congress, as well the talking heads in the media that cheered the war and misled the country.

Bush = gag a maggot.

Well said had enough. It's time to start over. The demoncrats and republisatans are now merely jew puppets A and jew puppets B. Every few years we get tired of jew puppets A and vote them out of office, jew puppets B take over and go to work on a different part of the same agenda. We need to break the cycle before it's too late for this once great nation.

What a mess the U.S. in...the George Tenet interview on 60 Minutes was absolutely shocking. This is what's become of the world's greatest stupidpower run by a bunch of Banana Republicans.

Todd,

You are correct in your assumption. However, you Old Folks, who have seen this time and again, are the biggest voting block in America. Put your money where your mouth is and stop voting for these morons "time and again"!

JAFO,

I hear ya. Seems that all we ever get is a choice of the lessor of two, or more, evils.

I'm in agreement with some of the others here who have put forth the idea that it's time for some new blood.

An entrenched political class was never the idea of our Founding Fathers.
