I have a room full of these mortgage "brokers" down the hall from me. I work alone from a small executive suite. There are about 4 of them packed like sardines into a small executive suite meant for 2 people. All day long they're on the phones telemarketing their crap.

They're loud obnoxious annoying dirtbags and I really can't wait for them to go broke and go away.

"Dateline"? You mean to say they did something besides "To Catch a Predator"?

Even in prison the grifters are more successful than I'll ever be. Oh well, America is the new kleptocracy, at least I know that now

anon, you might be on to something. Perhaps there can be some crossover show - teen girls apply for loans, then try to close later in the hottub. Kill two birds.

I saw this when it aired.

His art was fantastic. Why didn't he just sell art and his paint jobs for a living, instead of con jobs?

Disgusting choice he made when most people do not have that kind of artistic ability to exploit.

The women he conned with "LOVE" (said in a whiney tone), then took to the dark side were even more disgusting than him, they chose him over their families and children.

Hope they all rot in jail.

The gubbermint condones mortgage fraud. If you can't pay back mortgage fraud money the gubbermint will bail you out and you never have to go to jail. It is the new economy.

Went to sign some loan documents (business) on wed. 25th. The 'kid' behind the desk was tatoo'd so heavily and randomly pierced, that I laughed, stood up and said, "I can't take you seriously"! Then walked out!

Have not returned! I realized I don't neeed the loan after all!

The old con man joke certainly applies here, in this modern era of tatooed mortgage brokers, subprime gumbo soup, and creative Micky Mouse financing. What's the difference between a con man and a catfish? Answer: One is a scum-sucking bottom dweller; the other is a fish.
