Mortgage Bankers Association confab purchases speaker-whore George Bush Sr.

Anyone else had enough?

What do you think Papa Bush (for his massive speaker's fee) is going to tell the corrupt and evil mortgage bankers?

"Keep up the good work"?

"Hey, there's some old ladies you haven't raped yet over there - go get 'em!"?

"Sorry my son is so incompetent - but Jeb's on the way!"

Oh, for a good revolution HP'ers. It can't come soon enough. And the Great Housing Crash may be the catalyst.

No, Bush we'll probably say that you all are jealous f***s because typical of liberals, A)You blame everyone else for your shortcomings, weaknesses and insecurities and B) you don't or never will, come up with real plans for difficult issues. It's always, "The Republicans s**k." That's your idealogy.

I am amazed that anyone still supports any of the Bush family, especially as vehemently as the first poster.

It isn't a matter of being a Republican or Democrat, it is about being a reasonable American. It is easy to research for yourself the utter corruption of the Bush clan going all the way back to grandpa Prescott.

That entire family has gotten rich off of abusing Americans.

Boo hoo. Bush speaks for money. Well gee whatdayaknow, so does Bill Clinton but in HP/MSM world that is admired.

KEIF, you're a hypocrite - yet again.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former President Bill Clinton traveled the globe in 2005 giving speeches that earned him $7.5 million, according to financial disclosure documents his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, is required to file annually. He earned $9.5 million in speaking fees in 2002.

Clinton's speaking tour in 2005 included 43 speeches in 14 countries. He began in February and averaged about four speeches a month, usually charging about $150,000 per event. On occasion, the price was much steeper.

On October 18, 2005, for example, he addressed about 8,500 business executives at a "Power Within" motivational speaking conference in Toronto, Ontario, for a price of $350,000.

When factoring in his $125,000 fee for remarks to a different business group delivered via video-conference before the Toronto event, the former president's total two-day haul was $775,000.

Clinton earned $300,000 for a speech to the Abu Dhabi World Leadership Summit with British billionaire Richard Branson in November. He made the same fee for addressing the German media conglomerate Hubert Burda in December.

I guess someone missed the Hillary Clinton bashing post right after this one

They're all corrupt my friend. Our system is broken. Serving the people as a politician should be that - a service. Not a get-rich-quick scheme that is going on today, with the books, speakers fees, lobbying and payola

This corrupt system with no checks and balances has gotten us to where we are today - in an incredible mess, and near-bankruptcy.

Man, I wish people would put down the Republican and Democrat kool-aid and think

Good one KEEFER, you of the republicans are so evil but I love Democrats (except hillary).
Something about a kettle and pot being black.

Why do conservatives always bring up Kennedy or Bill Clinton when Bush is being discussed? That makes no sense.

The truth is that the entire Bush clan are bad people. Do your research. Don't say Bush Sr. is a good guy, research his Carlyle Group and all their dealings with the Saudis, etc. Every single Bush family member has had corrupt business dealings where the tax payers or innocent third parties got left holding the bag.

So what if Kennedy and Bill Clinton are bad, that has nothing to do with all the ruin the Bush clan has done through out their history.

The first post is mine and no, I'm not crazy about the Bush family nor the Republican party at this present time but I'm convinced that the powers that run the Democratic machine seriously have a mental disease.

He gave a speech, got a fat check and went on his merry way. No different than Slick Willy or Jimmah Cahtah. I'm not sure what your issue is here ot be quite honest.

Are you suggesting ex-presidents not speak for a fee?

Or is it just ex-Republican presidents?

Or is it just not speak for a fee to capitalist organizations?

All of the above?

Do you have any point or are you just stirring up the shit?

It's amazing, you Morons think Bush is a dim-witted Frat boy, barely able to construct a sentence!

But you a**holes believe he caused the devistation from Katrina and blew-up the levee's as well!!

Sounds like a big undertaking for a blithering idiot!

As an ex-President, Jimmy Carter has done many, many important things. He has used this role to accomplish more than he did as president, and set an example for the others.

Keith,

I hate the anonymous thing. I can't tell if it is just one bush apologist on this thing anymore.

Bush according to socialist liberals like Keith:

Bush is an idiot. But he orchestrated 9/11 and then capitalized on the event, all the while keeping one of the biggest conspiracies ever 100% quiet.

Bush has an IQ of 80. But he was smart enough to buy into and geo out of the Texas Rangers at the perfect time with a nice profit.

Bush is a moron. But he set up New Orleans to get wiped out in order to get 250,000 blacks out of there in order to secure LA for the GOP in 2008.

He is a baffoon who can't walk and chew gum. But he fooled everyone into thinking Saddam had WMDs in one master plan to eventually have a showdown with Iran 5 years later.

I'm no apologoist Keith, but I can recognize when two theories (Bush is idiot, Bush is mad genius) are mutually exclusive.

Such as blaming the jews for all of the world's ills and trashing his own country aborad. Very important indeed. Oh and he built a few homes too, can't forget that.

It's naive people like you, together with the Jesus freaks, who are bringing this country down. Do you think that Bush, the cokehead and drunk who "found Jesus at 40 years old" doesn't belong to a higher and more competent group? That f**** up wouldn't be able to do anything on his own. Cheney is the one running the show, the guy who made him president. Just check all the very private groups this crowd belongs to: Skull & Bones (arm from Illuminati, the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission. Just read about these groups and relate all the members in them with everything that's rotten on our history. You can start by reading here:

6:48,

If you are joking, well done, I had a nice chuckle.

If you are serious, holy shit you are one hell of a nutjob, even for this place. Ooooohh Bush belongs to "private"groups!!! Wow, that settles that. Wait I belong to a private golf club, does that make me part of the conspiracy too?

Skull and Bones? Wow he was in a fraternity in college!!! Damn, so was I. I guess I must be part of it all too huh? Hmmm I wish they hurry up and send me my membership card so I can start planning the next 9/11 and other cool shit like that.

Freak.
