Sorry Keith but I don't think he was born in the US.. Born in UK

Don't get me wrong! Lou is the man in my book and I would vote for him..

I will be supporting Dr. Ron Paul

I think the president should be like jury duty and a total random pick - I bet a million we would get a much better pool of presidents than the corporate/lawyer rich man's shills we usually get.

Dobbs was born in Childress, Texas, the son of a co-owner of a propane business and a bookkeeper. When Lou was 12, his father's propane business failed and the family moved to Rupert, Idaho.[1] He attended Minico High School in Rupert, serving as student body president in 1963.[4] He earned a degree in economics from Harvard University, graduating in 1967.[4]

After graduating, Dobbs worked for federal anti-poverty programs in Boston and Washington DC and as a cash-management specialist for Union Bank in Los Angeles. He married a high school sweetheart in 1969 and in 1970 his first son was born. Restless, Dobbs moved to Yuma, Arizona and got a job as a police and fire reporter for KBLU-AM. By mid decade, he was a television anchor and reporter in Phoenix and in Seattle at KING-TV. In 1979, he was contacted by a recruiter for Ted Turner, who was in the process of forming CNN.[1]

Answer: Lou Dobbs, Ron Paul.

Buzzz

Contestant: Who are very wealthy, Texans who have managed to hoodwink the loonie blogosphere into buying their bullshit even though it is obvious to anyone with a brain they don't believe in any of the crap they spew?

Alex: Correct for $200. We would have also accepted "What is the 2007 version of Ross Perot?" Select again.

President Blowfly!

He'd get impeached before he could put his hand down at the swearin' in!

You numbnuts don't actually think a) he will run or b) he has a chance do you?

I mean sure it's fun to play this game. Here, my turn. How about Bill Belichick as prez. And hmm lemme see how about Tedy Bruschi as Secretary of Partying...WOOO HOO!!! YEAH!! High five man.

I'm merely having some fun. You actually believe you have the ability to make this happen. Kinda scary really, in a Taxi Driver kind of way.

The one program I hate to see on CNN is Lou. I hate his constant bitch about immigration - Both legal and illegal. I can dela with his issue with illegal immigration, but cant stand it when he complains about the number of H1's and jobs being sent out of the country.

Most americans would hate the idea of losing jobs to countries like India, but do not realize the importance of export revenues from these countries to the US.

Well dont forget that it is Chainese and Indian banks indirectly paying for the inflated housing here.

On my recent trip to India, I was amazed to note the range of American products being retailed in India. From 75$ Levis to Dog food. Lays chips to Chevy cars.

If enough people join Lou's BS about exporting jobs to India, sooner or later someone thers is going to bitch about American products in the indian consumer market.

I cannot support my arguments with factual numbers, but consumption of American products in india is considerable and only going to get bigger.

Lou the fool probably understands that free market balances itself (Harward Graduate), but is taking advantyage of Americans fear of losing their jobs.

Poor buggers in these countries are working for American and making them richer by buying American products with the money they are paid to work for.

Which ever way you look at it, Its the Americans that are winning and Lou is complaining about it.

DIsclosure: I am a legal immigrant so, dont bother with Hate posts. If any one does, it only exposes Louistic Racism.

As much as I LOVE Lou Dobbs, I feel Ron Paul would be a good choice as well.

Ron Paul all the way!

Don't know if Lou Dobbs believes all that crap he spews as you so eloquently put it, but I can tell you that Ron Paul is for real. Check his voting record. The bigger issue is this. Doesn't matter if either of these two get in or not. They would still have to contend with a Republicrat house and senate that would block any meaningful reform. The Republicrats can simply outlast a 1 term president and move on to 2012. Sadly, we are so far gone politically that nothing short of a new revolution would make a difference.

My gosh -- what a rube you are! Taken in by a tan and a grin...

Lou Dobbs is a bit of a blowhard.

Never in a million years will he figure out that the real problem with the US's deficits is the bond/money printing system that allows them to be financed.

Ron Paul, incidentally, is hip to this.

Answer: Republican, Democrat

Buzz

Contestant: Which two political parties have hordes of braindead followers that have enabled them to steal from the middle-class and send America into $9 trillion debt since 1965?

Anyone who is a registered Republican or Democrat should not be allowed to vote due to having an extremely low IQ. If the mentally retarded don't vote, why should Democrats and Republicans be allowed to vote? It is these two groups of retards that have recycled the same band of criminals like Dennis Hastert, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Trent Lott and the rest of the DC Dummies who put us into this situation.

You don't mention lou quit his job during the internet bubble to set up a website focused around the theme of space, http://www.space.com It failed.

Secondly, he's known to be a bully. Ok, he is not an idiot but hey, you want another Rumsfeld?

Stick to housing bubble stuff.

Lou Dobbs would make a great president. When I watch his show I feel that at least someone in the MSM has a handle on the correct path for the U.S.A.

Anonymous said...

Dobbs is an ignorant, nativist, populist, arrogant, rascist, blowhard.

He hasn't the first clue about economics by the way.... AND he was a cheerleader during the dot.bomb years -- do you remember his blind hopes for "space.com"? Sure it's a nice website but to give up a terrific carrer to make a mint on that shows what a cool-aid drinker he was.

How soon you all forget. In the mid to late 1990's Lou Dobbs was one of the biggest media shills for the NASDAQ bubble. He was one of the biggest spokesman you could find for "blowing bubbles". After the Y2K crash of 2001 Dobbs returned to CNN under a new persona, that of the angry hard working American "dupe" who had been taken for all their money in the stock market swindle of the 1990's.
This is the best person Americans can come up with for President?
American's have short memories. Dobbs is nothing but a TV personality who is playing his latest "role" as assigned to him by CNN to perfection.
It isnt our leadership that is bad what is bad is the population and their in ability to think and act truthfully.

If it were up tp Lou Dobbs:

- Intel, google and yahoo would not
exit

- Henry Kissinger would not have
been Sec. of State.

- Bob Hope, Charlie Chaplin, Irving
Berlin and Frank Capra would never
have entertained anyone

- Albert Einstein would not have
taught at Princeton

- I.M. Pei would not have designed
any buildings in the USA

- van Halen would never have made
any music

For you see all these people along with the co-creators of google, yahoo and intel (Andy Grove, Jerry Yang and Sergei Brin) were EVIL I-M-M-I-G-R-A-N-T-S.

If good old Lou ran things, none of them would have been allowed into the country. And also if good 'ole Lou ran things I'd probably have to buy a piece of shit American car since god forbid we allow in any imports.

So KEIFFER, thanks but no thanks on this suggestion.

Lou Dobbs is a good choice.

Not sure about Cuban. The dude sold a crappy network. Just simple multihomed video decoder cards was all it was. Distributed networks are the way to go.

Ron Paul ?

Anonymous said...

He has my vote. The only anchor with "cajones" to expose the truth. Screw the Republican parasites!

Anonymous said...

wikipedia? truth by vote?

"Most americans would hate the idea of losing jobs to countries like India, but do not realize the importance of export revenues from these countries to the US."

Let it go, there comes the greedy outsourcer who fits right in with the Republican parasites. And he's still trying to sell this pathetic and selfish idea that outsourcing American jobs is good to our country. Nevermind Wal-Mart forcing American mfrs to move their factories to China in order to make a quick buck at the cost of American jobs, now the parasites are transferring tech jobs, too.

I'm amazed at the lack of knowledge about even basic economics from you restrictionist idiots. Close the borders, stop trade, keep all the jobs in America, yadda yadda.

Good thing nobody takes you people seriously. So go on keep watching Lou Dobbs every night and jack off afterwards.

In 20 years, every American but the superrich will regret globalization. Right now, many of you are still drinking the koolaid.

According to Democrats I am super rich. So I have nothing to fear.

I love Lou Dobbs, but I wouldn't
wish that on him. He serves us very
well, doing just what he is doing.

Lou Dobbs is a statist cretin. A neoTrotsky lover of big government and government control.

Spitzer in 2012!

I don't know what it's called, but I wish we could get voting changed so that candidates get ranked. You vote for your first choice, second choice, third choice, etc. Then votes for the most losing candidates are eliminated and the second choice votes on those ballots are recorded. This is done until a single candidate ends up with a majority. The benefit to doing this would be that one could vote for Ron Paul as a first choice and not worry about "throwing away your vote" a la the year Ralph Nader ran. It would eliminate the grip of the two main parties. The only downside is we can't seem to accurately count single votes. It'd be a horror show to count ranked votes...

My guess is that tens of millions of brainless twits will head to the polls and vote for the DummyRats and RepugliCons in 2008 and the Titanic will keep heading towards the iceberg.

Unfortunately for Mr. Dobbs, a history of high-profile adultery is required to join the 2008 Republican presidential field.

Good choice.

I have always been a big fan of Lou Dobbs. One of the few remaining true to life reporters in the spirit of Walter Chronkite or Edward Murrow.

Always well spoken and insightful. A class act.
