A time capsule of the greatest financial mania in the history of mankind, told in real-time by regular folks and patriots. May future generations better understand the madness of crowds, and how power and money corrupt.

Olberman is currently the best TV journalist in America. The problem is that the huge number of rednecks, white trash, trailer scum and assorted unwashed Republican half-breeds can't figure it out.
This country is sliding into a mediocrity fueled by consumerism and poor education. Just the way the elites want it...just generate invoices to the ignorant masses and kkep them working as wage slaves.
I saw the rant and Olberman was foaming at the mouth. The man is after ratings and this crap obviously plays to a certain market segment. Sort of a WWF for the birkenstock crowd - LOL!
Olberman is as trutsquad said, the only journalist that says the emperor has no clothes. Keith if you want to keep up with his stuff I think msnbc's website has his worst person in the world episodes and the essay/rants he does are often on crooksandliars.com. I am often at aloss for words when i hear him speak, because he says so much of what we (the rational folks) are thinking. Alas he is a lone voice in a wilderness of pathetic me too journalism.
"Olbermann may be assassinated if he's not careful. The US is becoming weirdly aggressive and dangerous, extreme and polarized."
A few weeks ago, (at his home in NYC),he received an envelope with white powder, which eventually proved harmless. The Fox News Co. owned NY Post made a joke of it and tried to ridicule him as "panicked".
For sure, there's lots of Republican right-wing sickos and a big number of redneck cockroaches in this country.
I take that back, Jack Cafferty has his shining moments.
If you worthless democrats were running the country, the US would have surrended to the Taliban by now. That's what you metrosexual f*ggots wanted. Anything to seek your own destruction.
What this country needs is another civil war. Metrosexuals and libs will be beheaded along with eco-fascists and islamists.
hey anon does that apply to metroplexuals as well? Get a life!
The left will surrender to islamists who behead Christians. Multi-cultis are too afraid of being called rascists to put up any resistance to defend themselves. Anyone who has darker pigment than the typical rich, white liberal gets a free pass morally and can do anything without criticism.
luckily we have the worthless republicans running everything, so nothing to fear. there, i feel safer already.
"tit and tat
Muslim insurgents behead 14-year-old Christian boy"
Yeah..what a pity the Muslims got to this little boy before the Republicans
could show him real...love.

Did he have his shorts on?
being anti-bush does NOT make you a democrat. It just makes you anti-bush.
regardless of what fox news tells you
man, some people are so dense. But that's the state of america today
"If you're not with us - you're with the terrorists"
Stupid slogans for stupid people
Amen Keith,
I have to recommend a book to you, unlike coulter's slime "how to talk to a liberal if you must". John Dean's "Conservatives Without A Conscience" explains how they think and actually how they are very like the terrorists themselves.
After I read it I had insight into the psyche of these folks. There is no reasoning with them even if your argument makes total sense. They can somehow warp there beliefs around their leaders. For example, Pat Robertson advocationg the assasination of a foreign leader. I thought christians did not believe in murder?
Even the GOP candidate for Senator in my state is criticizing Bush: given the choice between the Prez himself and the First Lady for a campaign "special guest," he chose the First Lady. Easy pickin's.
So yeah, you don't have to be Democrat, Green, or Libertarian to diss Bush. You just have to be rational or a GOP with a long memory who remembers what the party used to stand for.
Every race has two or more scumbags in it. Plenty to choose from. Now, go hold your nose and vote, dammit!
Bush is stupid?
Who's the idiot who can't read his own lines? Then he's too dumb to admit his mistake?
He obviously meant to say "you get us stuck in Iraq." Problem is, he didn't.
Pretty bad when you try to call someone stupid but you're too dumb to read the talking points. Then you compound the error by pretending to be a tough guy. Two and a half years too late.
Even us dumb GI's heard what Lurch said. Blowbermann, no genius, knows it too. But he's at least smart enough to read the hyperventilaing rant scrolling across his TelepromTer. I suspect he knows it's transparent BS too, but his producers explained what his tiny little audience wants to hear.
C'mon, even Imus and then finally Lurch had to admit he stepped on the line. Who's Blowhardmann kidding?
The current GOP is nothing like it used to be.
I think I might switch parties. I'm tired of being whatever the opposite of a lib-tard is. Anybody?
if olberman thinks that is a great example of an "out of context" fallacy he is the stupid one.
but we have already establhished that when we analyzed the war commissions act.
Kudos to Olberman, he gets better with every rant.
At least he puts his money where his mouth is, no matter whether you agree or disagree with him.
Nice to see that the idea of political commentary is still alive and kicking, albeit very tiny, amongst the hoardes of mealymouthed MSM talking heads.
Olberman's journalism is about as deep, intelligent and dramatic as any Jerry Springer show. He's cheap and moronic and suffers from diarrhea of the mouth... bla...bla...bla...phhttt...
bugsy:
Vote Libertarian!
>> Olberman's journalism is about as deep, intelligent and dramatic as any Jerry Springer show. He's cheap and moronic and suffers from diarrhea of the mouth...
I know, he sucks when he dares to quote the US Constitution. Doesn't he know that the Constitution has been categorized as "just a goddamned piece of paper"??? The nerve.
i am anon,
Aaaah, what's up doc? That's actually a vewy good idea. The federal government is irrelevant to me. They will never do anything to benefit me, they only take. Alas, I'm used to it.
I know, i know...and how stupid is it to spend 10 whole minutes of your life trying to argue coherently....such wasted time.
He could have be down the gym or in McDonalds....
First: They tax and spend!
They favor the rich!
Second: They're homosexuals!
They're pedolphiles!
Third: Bang!
Boom!
>> There is no reasoning with them even if your argument makes total sense.
Works both ways buddy! Each side calling itself good, the other side bad. It's no-win, short of violence...

You obviously haven't lived in the south or around a lot of trailer parks. The people you just described vote democrat. These people understand that it's important to vote democrat to keep their SSI and disability checks rolling in. As for Olbermann, he's OK, but really no different from all of the other talking heads.
Vote Libertarian on Tuesday!
Borka- Has a little weenie
Also, Kerry didn't fluff his lines. Those are his true beliefs. He's been saying the same thing since the 70's. The MSM is just saying he screwed up because it's so close to the election.
The real question is, was he wrong? I can't stand Kerry, but I agree with what he said. Lets not be PC here (it's HP for crying out loud). There's no way I would volunteer for the military right now. No Way!

After President Meets Reporters, Sullivan -- Once a Bush Backer -- Now Suggests He May Have 'Lost His Mind'
By E&P Staff
Published: November 01, 2006 10:00 PM ET
NEW YORK In a move that no doubt sent a shiver through several candidates in his own party, President Bush, in a special interview with wire service reporters in the White House, today guaranteed a job for his Pentagon chief for two more years, adding that both Donald Rumsfeld and Vice President Cheney "are doing fantastic jobs and I strongly support them."
But it wasn't only endangered Republicans who have been calling for Rumsfeld's ouster who may have blanched. Andrew Sullivan, the conservative writer who was once a key media supporter for the Iraq war, denounced the latest Bush statement on CNN on Wednesday night, stating that the president is so delusional, "This is not an election anymore, it's an intervention. "
Sullivan said the president was "so in denial," comparing the Rumsfeld endorsement to applauding the job FEMA's Michael Brown did on Katrina: "It's unhinged. It suggests this man has lost his mind. No one objectively could look at the way this war has been conducted, whether you were for it, as I was, or against it, and say that it has been done well. It's a disaster.
"For him to say it's a fantastic job suggests the president has lost it, I'm sorry, there's no other way to say it.....These people must be held accountable. " He added that today, Richard Perle, a leading neocon and Iraq war backer, had today called the administration "dysfunctional. "
Rep. John Boehner, the second-ranking Republican in the House, said, also on CNN: "Let¢s not blame what¢s happening in Iraq on Rumsfeld. But the fact is, the generals on the ground are in charge, and he works closely with them and the president."
"The real question is, was he wrong? I can't stand Kerry, but I agree with what he said."
Agree with Dave. Funny thing is Kerry was probably right about what he uttered (although obviously unintentional). Sure there are some well-off gung-ho soldiers, but the majority are more likely from poor backgrounds who can't afford to go to college, or have no quality career options.
Let's get the debate started. As the gap b/w rich and poor in this country grows, the only way we'll have a military made up of people from diverse economic backgrounds is to institute a draft. Although a drastic measure, that would also certainly force politicians and voters to re-think their take on when and where to wage war.
Facts are that the military has had to lower and lower its normal recruitment standards, now accepting people it would have previously rejected as being too stupid to tie their own shoe, much less wield expensive weaponry.

You're misinformed about the politics about American southern white trash. The ovewrwhelming number of them have created the solid Republican south primarily because of their racism and resentment of African-Americans.
These Bush lap dogs are so ignorant
and blinded by intolerance, they cant figure out its the Dems that feed them. Best thing happening to the redneck states is the recent flood of Mexicans to that part of the country to clean up the "trash".

Bullshit, man! Look at the whole speech. He was in the middle of a paragraph bagging GW, and the text they released fits right in.
You're another Faux News devotee with zero ability to think critically.
Ouch disgorge, your just a wee bit bitchy this evening aren't you.
I saw the whole speech and it's obvious what he meant. I'm not a Republican, I'm not a Democrat, I'm not a Fox News watcher, I just call them like I see them. Which makes me much more of a critical thinker then a democrat apologist like yourself. Please, try to think before you post.

I smell a Con in fear! Make them vote anything but Dem, eh? Eff u.
I am an economic conservative, a Libertarian and definately not afraid. If you vote for a Republican or a Democrat, it's just a vote for the status quo. I vote for change when change is needed.
Yeah, keep blowing crap out of your piehole Olberman. You and Kerry are the best things to happen for us Republicans. You guys are better than having Osama appear just before an election to ensure a victory for the GOP.
I never thought the October surprise would come from Olberman and Kerry. but hey THANKS!!!
Pleeeeeeeease keep talking. By the way, Rove says the check's in the mail.
Mr. Bush is a politician. He has a lot of enemies, a lot of whom don't wish
YOU well. I'm not a big fan of Mr.
Bush, but a lot of the Bush haters
keep me thinking he's not so bad, LoL.
I'll probably vote libertarian
tuesday, though.

David in Jax, I suppose that's why the South is such a Democrat stronghold, eh? Oops, no, it's all red states down there. Shome mishtake shurely?
Again Disgorge, think before you post. I never said that the MAJORITY of people living in the south live in trailers. The vast majority of people in the south do not live in trailers. There is however, a large redneck contingency and a high concentration of trailer parks. Higher than other parts of the country. And guess what, whether you like it or not, they vote Democrat. It's not a slam against Democrats and it's not a plug for Republicans. I don't like either party. It's just the truth.
If you want to see this country become aggressive, violent and disorganized, wait until a nuclear 9/11.
That may happen in Europe first. Per European behavior, watch them lick their wounds and apologize to the people that nuked them. After all, they must have done something to make people of country X mad at them!
I always try to take violent, crazy people very seriously (see Anon. 11/2 9:01 above). I hope everyone here are buying guns n ammo. Come the crash they'll be much more valuable than gold. If Bush declares martial law, they'll change the law immediately. Buy now while you can.
Anon 9:01 must be one of Ann Coulter's sociopathic minions. They're just itching to go.

I've flipped thru that magazine in the book store before - wasn't impressed.

The conservatives already have 'em generally speaking. Good Liberals are against gun ownership and for gun control. Ask Rosie.
this whole rant is directed to bush. he keeps saying to me 'You, Mr. bush, sir, blah blah', um why are americans watching this, it's for bush to watch you dolts!
