Why, oh why, does anyone hire a realtor today?
Two words: Discredited Liars. That should never work in their towns again. Make sure you leave a comment for Greg here
From July 21st:
Which brings me back to HousingPanic’s question. We keep our own home sales price statistics, so we have no doubt that values are down from their high in December. How much? Right now, about 4%. Could they go lower? Certainly. Will they drop by the huge amounts HousingPanic and his flying monkeys seem to yearn for? This seems very unlikely.
From today in the Arizona Republic:
What's the spread of prices for these nearly identical homes? They run from $245,000 to $360,000, a difference of $115,000. Which ones will sell? The best-kept houses at the low end of the price spectrum will sell. The others will not. They won't even be shown.
The nature of this market is that people are still seeking prices for their homes that would have been outrageous a year ago, as we neared the end of our housing boom. Whatever they might say, these people are not motivated to sell their homes right now.

Too funny! Greg Swann of bloodhound realty, who called HP'ers flying monkeys and polyannas, admits Phoenix housing is crashing

Love That Keith!
I have neighbors that are some of the worst lying scum realtors and have run around town flaunting their unearned wealth for the past few years. It is hideous. The uneducated, unclassy, slippery snakes are exposed. Too funny!
jr
all the housing louses are now bears.
I hope the realtor suicide rates begins to increase and does not stop rising until there are no realtors left.

For the white hot monkey love?
i didn't see any admission of a crash in the article, in fact he is still optimiztic about the market as i see it.
check out pheonix craiglist....over 300 houses for sale, and those are only the ones list today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is the latest update with my neighbors who sold their house.
They sold it on a short sale and are looking for a place to live ATM, funny thing is they have 30 day's to pack their stuff and move out and have no place to go.
let see $80,000 pocket money, $400,000 price tag for a new place.. hmm talk about shitting higher than one can afford..best of luck i say..Y on earth would you leave a perfectly good home that you owed short money on and buy a $400,000 money trap..fools.
Cool night here in the North East..time to put the pellet stove to work.. peace!
First negative post by MSM in Seattle!
This woman has written hundreds of fluffy, pom pom type articles.
The article is spun quite a bit, but I love the headline.
@2.99 LB TOMATOES, ANOTHER NUMBER NOT LISTED ON THE INFLATION CALCULATIONS, HORSESHIT
I saw $7.99 for a (largish) thing of cashews a few weeks ago. Do I hear $19.99?
We're going to hell in a split level.
Gee, Funny how the experts call something when it has already happened!
Boy, he really stuck his neck out on that one!
When the icy waters touched his heels the Captain of the Titanic said, "We may be sinking!"
Momma always said, "Stupid is as Stupid does!"
2.99lb for tomatoes, $4.00 cup of joe, ..........everything is wacked!
More of a Swann dive.
remember the 3bd 2bath 2 car garage, with pool, non associative house of year 2000 at 90 thousand, or another of the non acconnted inflation numbers!!!!! or then 5 year 300%, non accounted for, balanced $
was brand new, peanuts in 2000
gene spliced crops for giganticism and mass production, puts us a odds with the EU, yet no room for even that?
I don't find the guy reprehensible for being an optimist (though he's clearly called things wrong). Doing his job requires unbridled optimism.
He does, however, need to be beaten with a stick for his "How to turn $1. into $27,000." article. That kind of puff piece epitomizes the mindset which lured the suckers and inflated the bubble. All that the rest of us will get when the whoopee goes away are sticky, stained bedsheets.
Yeah Baby-Borkafatty
Hey what's up with this neighbor story? Some of us need to know the whole story. Well let me say mine now Phoenix is a hot crapy dump where poor trash go, because they can't make it in Cali. Wow Buckeye AZ now that is what I call a dump.
Hellllllllllloooooooooo
