Caught in a trap.. can't walk out... Sound likes a Scottsdale condo to me!

HP dedicates this classic Elvis performance to all the homedebtors who should have had more suspicious minds when their realtor was telling them that $500,000 1-bedroom condo was a great investment and home prices never go down...

Plus Elvis just kicks ass... enjoy HP'ers!

I consider this Elvis' greatest song.

I've always liked "in the ghetto" which is very appropriate as well

then there's always on my mind, which homedebtors would find meaningful as they sleep every night in their worst financial mistake

I saw Elvis perform live in 1977. He was on the way down from his comeback. His drug addiction was so bad he had to reference music sheets to remember the words to the songs.
As for the real estate correlation, the signs are there that the real estate market too is losing steam and will be on the way down as soon as the rates creep up.

RE 101, more succinctly:

McMansions = the new Fat Elvis

This is a old SNL skit but in the end this is what realtor's will be doing for a sale. Andy Kaufman did the best Elvis bar none IMHO so check this out and at the end someone should walk into a real estate office and show a perfect credit score sheet then tell them to wrestle for it and winner gets the sale. Here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PLlRE8j6sU

I checked out the new condos over at Hayden Ferry ... starting at $600K for a one bedroom with almost no view all the way up over $2 million.

Is it heretical of me to say that I prefer the Fine Young Cannibals version?

jf long returns to build 100 story affordable city housing, from aj to buckeye, on buckeye and broadway, and creates the new, rapid transit, downtown district, quite a different style, for an economy without steel mills and cement mills, or mines not working, no we will just devide the farms out of production for mcmansions, for illegal aliens, until we cant afford a mchamburger

101 is right. "The King" is whacked out on bennies and who knows what else in this video.

I knew people in those days who traveled with Elvis and who provided personal services to his entourage and family. The real Elvis was a tragic creature, addicted to drugs, clueless about money, a poor judge of character, and almost like a helpless child in many respects.

That Americans (and people around the world) hold him in such high esteem is baffling and perhaps reflective of our own infantile minds and fears. Perhaps we deep down know that he was so terribly flawed but had the so-called good life before checking out early sitting on the toilet, and many identify with Elvis in that they'd like to experience the same thing, if only . . .
