Burning down the house

Fire swept through a historical downtown church early Friday, collapsing its steeple and flicking off embers that ignited three other buildings. Arson was not suspected, a fire official said. The buildings were unoccupied, and no injuries were immediately reported.

The buildings were part of a $45 million renovation into condominiums. Owner Will Chandler told WMC-TV that he was worried one couldn't be salvaged, but he said it looked like the tower might be saved.

"I have no reason to believe it's arson," Benson said. The cause remained under investigation.

What are you on about? It clearly states arson isn't suspected... and the fire started in a church...

we've had a few in St. Louis that are unknown in origin but were in some phase of development.

Arson should never appear to be arson. It will be interesting to track how many developments are "incidentally" burned down in the coming years.

A realtor who also owns his own agency in our NJ town, bought a pricey house two years ago. He had a mysterious fire in his own home about 2 months ago. Wonder how that happened?

Exactly.A expert arsonist is by definition a pro. Unlike the idiots who dont know what there doing, like the brain trusts torching underwater SUVS, the pro wont leave a trace or a path to follow.Perfect accidental fire that got out of control and just happened to burn down a nearby condo/flipper pos.Burn,baby,burn.

anon-are you talking about the condos in Lafayette Square in St. Louis? I was wondering about those at the time too.

Your going to see a lot more of this! Leave a bunch of oily rags around, and the red ink stops. Get the settlement, and wait until the climate is better!

Interesting. How would one go about purchasing the services of a professional arsoner?

I guess look down at the look anti-Abortion group or KKK or probably easiest to inquire at your local GOP office? LOL.

Just keep kids away from the gap pedophile Chrstian moral majority.

Talking Heads, Keith you are cool but giving away your age. I think your reference is somewhat obscure to many people. 365 degrees burning down the house!

Media reports have speculated a nuclear test could come Sunday, the anniversary of Kim's appointment as head of the Korean Workers' Party in 1997. Japan said it was stepping up monitoring of North Korea in light of the speculation.

If this does happen, should make for an interesting monday to say the least.
