BubbleMeter shows us the "bubble pole" in DC

God I love pictures like this one. How dumb can realtors be? Uh, nice job exposing how DESPERATE this condo development's owners are

Send any bubble poles, bubble benches, bubble fences to HP so we can have a good laugh!

It all of your peoples faults that the bubble has bursted! If we all stayed quit and instead of causing a mock just kept buying condos and flipping them we could all have been rich by now! My 3 bdroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse which I bought for 159,000 in 1997 would be worth a cool 2.5 million by now and we would all take vacations to jamaica every 2 months, in between flips ofcourse! Oh well I guess its back to reality..Who wants to buy my hummer?

Don't you get it? RE always goes up because they don't make land anymore (ok so they did in Tokyo, Dubai and Montreal) and everyone wants to live here (and just where here is doesn't matter because it's always better here).

In any case, the picture only shows how valuable the land is because that picutre was actually taken at 9am, but by noon all those lock boxes were gone because the units were sold. But you don't see that second photo here, do you?

What the hell are those?

Those are lockboxes that hold the keys to the various condos that are there. Listing agents will place a key in the lockbox so buyer agents will have access to them.

I notice that this development is "active adult" (55 and older). I am quite amazed that there are this many condos being flipped for this kind of development. Were "old flippers" signing up for these?

old flippers

A TRUE STORY

I saw a new trailer parked in a 55 and up Mobil Home Community. Said new Trailer went for $25,000.00. A flipper bought it, planted some plants, and marked it up to $45,000.00.

Then eminent domain took the entire park for a High School!!!! HHAHAHAHAH

Sorry, I could not help myself.

unlike paranoid ben, I think the bubble bloggers should support each other

I can tell you I received a couple of private notes from bubble bloggers who said they're banned at ben's blog - he deletes their posts, any mention of their blogs, and won't link to them

one word: jerk

nice job with the bubble bench and bubble pole. lockboxes are a hoot!
