When somebody tells me something is the "worst in history", how do they know? History is usually written long after the death of the people involved in the events. During our Civil War, critics called Lincoln the worst President in U.S. history.
Just because you don't like the guy or his policies doesn't mean you have carte blanche to say stupid things. People who bitch about FOX news and then turn around and get their news from a comedy show are not the crowd I care to hang with.
Most corrupt president/presidency in history of our country. He's been bought and paid for wall street. Basically wall street is running the country. He's just putting the signature where ever they ask him to.
why do idiots capitalize FOX news and REALTOR?
It seems like EVERY president is reviled as 'the worst' when he is in office. I'm no big fan of Mr. Bush, but I'm sure history will be kinder to him than the rabid haters would like.
"Basically wall street is running the country. He's just putting the signature where ever they ask him to."
LOL! -- Gee, you mean to tell me it's like the day in '95 when Robert Rubin told Clinton he had to get in bed with the bond traders (it's in Clinton's memoirs) to salvage his presidency? I can't believe the level of political and economic naiveté out there. Stupid people deserve a fascist ruler who will eliminate the need for any rational thought.
loved reagan, loved bush 1, hated clinton, REALLY hated bush 2
One thing is for sure, Bush does whatever the heck he wants to and doesn't pander to polls, media, ... and I find that refreshing in Politics.
Some people think everything he does is some move that is evil, part of his master plan, and must be some kind of conspiracy in his quest to rule the world.
I don't think that. I don't see him out building palaces all over the country, driving fancy cars, ... so what is he doing with all this oil or whatever money and all this power he is trying to get?
I don't think he will go down in history as the worst President ever. History books look at big picture moments, one of which is 9/11. And in the books it will say George W Bush took the offensive position to rid the world of terrorists who want to kill Americans just because they are Americans. I suppose only time will tell if we should have just given them hugs and then maybe we would have lived in peace forever.
I am, however, fed up with him and all this Amnesty crap. But at least he didn't veto the border fence.
"he wants to and doesn't pander to polls, media, ... and I find that refreshing in Politics."
this is a silly statement! what if someone started burning down houses to restore prarie grass and bold asserted, "isn't it refreshing to ignore laws that block prarie grass restoration!"
the judge would certainly say: "brilliant idea! keep up your good work!"
Even Bill Frist, senate majority leader, is now saying that we lost Afganistan, not that we should have won it anyway, it's a country not a prize, and Iraq will be a folly too.
"History books look at big picture moments, one of which is 9/11."
They'll look at it, and the 9/11 commission, and compare it to the OJ Simpson trial which was both expensive and unable to uncover the facts.
Although, go look at bsalerts.com and you'll see that the conservative networks are already rewritting history and claiming that Mark Foley is a democrat:
Conservatives report that Foley is a Democrat?
Anything is possible and i'm sure that Bush's no child left behind legislation will make schools indoctrinate their students to bullshit.
When I was a substitute teacher, I watched kids get A's for transcribing what CNN and Fox News had on their websites, so now they believe that Foley is a Democrat and Republicans are still ethical creatures! And what if a student went to an alternative website? The teacher would run the other way for fear of gettnig fired and talking about an alternative viewpoint!
Even on CBS, there is "Fox News: CBS," the news concept that has Katie Couric doing Fox News on CBS... totally terrible in my opinion...
Bush will go down as AWOL but maybe he'll have a comeback in the "America's Army" game!
The spin Doctors are working it. Gerbals would be so proud of them!
Conspiracies live due to the fact that most people cannot believe that Bush is that incompotent to actually invade a country without a plan or enough troops. Thinking that 1300 hundred years of fighting will not reflash once the dictator is gone.
So he's either the stupidest president ever or the most evil.....take your pick. I just retired from the military and I will tell anyone that listens, not to join. Especially to work for this corrupt group of leaders.
Take care out there
"And in the books it will say George W Bush took the offensive position to rid the world of terrorists who want to kill Americans just because they are Americans."
Yeah, sounds like you really have a grasp of why the bulk of the Islamic world disdains the U.S.
"They hate our freedom!"
Do drink some more of Uncle Rove's Kool-Aid.
BUILDING THE NORTH AMERICAN UNION

NewsWithViews. com
Just when you thought it might be safe to go on to topics other than regional integration and trade practices driven by the love of money and the lust for power, you get blindsided again.
While ordinary Americans were reflecting on the fifth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, globalists of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico were making their way quietly, quietly, to Banff, Alberta for the North American Forum held at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel Sept. 12–14. The meeting was closed-doors. According to some reports buses with attendees were arriving at night. There was no print media coverage in the U.S. and very little in Canada; I was able to download an article from the Toronto-based Star. Those who do not get their news from the Internet remain in the dark about one of the biggest unfolding events of the present decade: the globalist social engineering of a North American Union.
This is the same thing people said about...
Carter...
Reagan...
Bush...
Clinton...
Bush...
It's said about every sitting president. This is nothing new.
While I had a hard time correlating your analogy, I think what you are saying is that you think what Bush is doing is wrong and the polls show a lot of people agree, so it doesn't make sense for me to find it refreshing that the President doesn't pander to what the polls imply people want.
Makes sense, I understand your point. But do you understand mine? I find it admirable that he does what he thinks is best for the country (many people don't think he does, thats fine, its not my point) and not what will make him Mr Popular. Thats what good leaders do when they feel it is necessary. Is a Mom a good Mom if she does everything her kids want? No. She listens to her kids, but will put her foot down when she feels it is necessary no matter how much they cry.
I don't see that in most politicians. Most politicians will say one thing to one audience, and say something completely different to another. Pandering to their audience and trying to have it both ways. A politician on Fox news will imply "Secure the borders" and then when talking to the ACLU they'll imply "Those that want to build a fence are racists!". They'll twist words to the point that you don't even know what there position is on something after they've been talking for 5 minutes. Happens time and time again, somebody will ask a clear yes/no question and the politician just goes off on some tangent.
Right or wrong, whether I agreed or not - I've always known George W's position and that he will keep it because he thinks that is what is right. He won't change his position simply because he is falling back in the polls or the media is attacking him. And that, to me, is refreshing even though it can be extremely frustrating if I don't agree.
bsalerts.com must be down, or are you talking about bsalert.com?
What more facts do you need on 9/11 except that terrorists killed Americans just because they are American? Who dropped the ball, what could have been done, blah blah blah doesn't matter in the grand scheme of American History.
I doubt Foley will be mentioned in most History books. And its not because it is some right winged conspiracy, it is because it will be historically insignifigant.
I find it amusing you are worried about conservatives taking over schools. Maybe where you live they do, but rest assured, here in So Cal liberals dominate the classrooms.
And Tony, I completely agree with "Thinking that 1300 hundred years of fighting will not reflash once the dictator is gone". His plan was to take out the dictator and his followers. He got the dictator and has done a pretty good job with the followers. I doubt his intentions were to plant flowers at everyone's home and Hummmers for all. If they think they need a civil war, I say go ahead and let them kill each other. We did and I think we are better off because of it.
Some say we don't have enough troops, some say we have too much. What is the magic number? Or do you think we should have went full force in? I don't think so, if we had there would be even more innocent Iraqi deaths - although probably less innocent beheadings.
BTW, if I had to pick I'd pick Stupid over Evil.
"Yeah, sounds like you really have a grasp of why the bulk of the Islamic world disdains the U.S."
I think most of the islamic world hates us because were not an Islamic nation and that we've helped Israel out so much. The rest of the world hates us because we're selfish consuming pigs. Do you think differently? Teach me wise one.
"During our Civil War, critics called Lincoln the worst President in U.S. history."
Lincoln was a monster. Geo. Bush is merely emulating him. Habeas corpus
is dead in America. [Habeas corpus is the name of a legal instrument or writ by means of which detainees can seek release from unlawful imprisonment.]
YOU or I could be thrown in prison for the rest of our lives without recourse to the legal system if Geo.Bu$h decides we are enemy combatants.
But what do I know, I'm a chemist.
When somebody tells me something is the "worst in history", how do they know? History is usually written long after the death of the people involved in the events. During our Civil War, critics called Lincoln the worst President in U.S. history.

When somebody tells me something is the "worst in history".....
Well, I've witnessed the domestic and foreign policy handiwork of Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton and Bush II administrations.
My opinion is that Bush is the worst President I've ever seen. I believe he will go down in the history books as the worst in US history ahead of Andrew Johnson, Calvin Coolidge and James Buchanan.
KEITH..GREAT SITE!!!
HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO WAGER THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE ARMS AND INTEREST ONLY SUCKERS....VOTED FOR BUSH???
Lincoln was considered worst in history by...Southerners and their sympathizers!!!DUUUUHHH1111
I think we can easily compare Bush to past presidencts and make a determination as to how good of a job he is doing. It really isn't that difficult or complicated. By most measures, Bush is a total failure.
Talk about your strawmen arguments coming from the Bush defenders. Our only alternative to starting a useless war in Iraq was to give terrorists hugs? What a joke.
Bush will be remembered for 9/11? Yes, his administration be remembered for ignoring the numerous urgent warnings which preceded the attacks. He will personally be remembered for continuing to read to schoolchildren ata time when immediate action could have saved lives. He will be remembered for hiding out in bunkers all day then having his operatives spread false romors about a seecutiry threat to his plane.
I do not recall anyone saying Clinton was the worst President ever. He maintained high approval ratings throughout his time in office and presided over a booming economy, balanced budgets, and a benign foreign policy. Who aside from the extremist partisans like Coulter and Limbaugh ever said he was a terrible leader? Many people from Bush's own party have called him the worst ever.
clinton attracted huge adoring crowds and cheers when he visited other countries
bush has to be taken in through secure routes and cannot speak in public without getting shot at
I'd like a president who attracted huge adoring crowds who don't want him dead again
Someone get me that person
barrack obama?
Halliburton charged with selling nuclear technology to Iran
Halliburton, the notorious U.S. energy company, sold key nuclear-reactor components to a private Iranian oil company called Oriental Oil Kish as recently as 2005, using offshore subsidiaries to circumvent U.S. sanctions, journalist Jason Leopold reported on Globalresearch.ca, the Web site of a Canadian research group. He cited sources intimate with the business dealings of Halliburton and Kish.
The story is particularly juicy, because Vice President Dick Cheney, who now claims to want to stop Iran from getting nukes, was president of Halliburton in the mid-1990s, at which time he may have advocated business dealings with Iran, in violation of U.S. law.
Leopold contended that the Halliburton-Kish deals have helped Iran become capable of enriching weapons-grade uranium.
Leopold's filed his report in 2005, when Iran's new hard-line government was rounding up relatives and business associates of former Iranian president and defeated mullah presidential candidate Hashemi Rafsanjani, amid accusations of widespread corruption in Iran's oil industry.
Leopold also reported that in 2004 and 2005, Halliburton had a close business relationship with Cyrus Nasseri, an Oriental Oil Kish official who the Iranian government subsequently accused of receiving up to $1 million from Halliburton for giving them Iran's nuclear secrets.
Source: GlobalResearch.ca, Aug. 5, 2005. Title: "Halliburton Secretly Doing Business With Key Member of Iran's Nuclear Team." Author: Jason Leopold.
I'll vote for W again for one reason - to see you idiots twisting in hate... I don't give a damn what Europen impotents think of W and the US.
Actually I don't even care who will be the next president as far as he doesn't interfere with my business. Neither Clinton nor W did. Love them both.
Cheers.
ALL THIS TALK ABOUT PROTECTING AMERICA

BETTER MEN DIED WILLINGLY FOR THE
CONSTITUTION, AND WE JUST PISS AWAY

GEORGE BUSH IS A TRAITOR TO THE
CONSTITUTION. THAT IS THE OATH HE
SWORE. NOT TO PROTECT AMERICANS.
HE IS A FREEDOM FAG!!
VOTE REAL (CONSTITUTIONAL) FREEDOM
FIRST YOU PUSSYS.

Under George Bush we now have legislation in the United States that gives the President the power to name ANYONE..and that includes YOU..as an enemy combatant.
Once that is done you can be imprisoned, held INDEFINATELY, WITHOUT A LAWYER, with no charges placed again you. Forever.
The government has been known, repeatedly, to make mistakes and arrest the wrong (and innocent) person.
It could happen to YOU. Have you boneheads who defend Bush EVER considered this?
What Bush, with Republican complicity, has done, is set up the framework for a dictatorship in the United States.
...and you still don't think he's the worst President in history??
Turn off the FOX news and turn on your brains.
If you don't think Bush is not only the worst President ever, but downright dangerous, you either aren't thinking, or are so far in denial that you CAN'T think.
All racists are Republicans
All rednecks are Republicans
All gay haters are Republicans
All religious wackos are Republicans
All the pseudo-macho "kill/torture 'em all" keyboard kommandos on this site are Republicans
All Bush supporters are Republicans.
Conclusion:
All maladjusted, poorly educated, genetic mutant pedigreed Americans are Bush supporters.
Folks, for a very long time now (over 50 yrs) EVERY president has been little more than a tool of the jews. The only difference with Bush is, he's too stupid to effectively pull the wool over most peoples eyes. He just can't lie effectively enough for the jews, why do you think he is being painted in such a bad light in the jewsmedia nowadays.... because he has not brought the American public around to the idea of fighting another jew war in Iran.
LMFAO, just watched the video. "One of the hardest parts of my job is connecting the war on terror, to the war on Iraq"
"One thing is for sure, Bush does whatever the heck he wants to and doesn't pander to polls, media, ... and I find that refreshing in Politics"
TRANSLATION:
Bush can attack any country he wants because of 9/11, even if they had nothing to do with it. And polls....ha....what do they know, 37% approval ratings.....there is only one way to go!!! Definately refreshing. Good choice of words.
"Some people think everything he does is some move that is evil, part of his master plan, and must be some kind of conspiracy in his quest to rule the world."
TRANSLATION:
George Bush had no f&^%$ing plan!!!! That is what got him in trouble in the first place!!! And RULE THE WORLD.....he can't even rule the US! Let's work on that first, and leave the rest of the world alone for a bit huh? He has done a bang up job so far.
"I don't think he will go down in history as the worst President ever...it will say George W Bush took the offensive position to rid the world of terrorists who want to kill Americans"
TRANSLATION:
He won't go down as the worst president ever....but certainly the worst president the US has even seen. RID THE WORLD OF TERRORISTS!!!! Again your ignorance is astounding, that's like saying George Bush will go down in history for ridding the world of mosquitoes. They reek havoc on every day life and thank the lord that George Bush was able to genocide them. You can not get rid of terrorists......WHY.....because it is a frame of mind, a belief, an impossibility....WE HAVE NO WAY TO WIN.....we can just contain and ready ourselves in the best way we know how.......however, show me a president that can get rid of mosquitoes, and I'll vote for him....that is real talent.
Hey Keithmiller.......go post on Ben's Blog....maybe they will understand your messed up logic there.
Folks, for a very long time now (over 50 yrs) EVERY president has been little more than a tool of the jews.
Wait !
How many of U clowns believe there is an INVISABLE JEW thats looking over U or is about to appear...
or that U will dissapear to be with said Jew.
Now thats the POWER of the Jews.
The crazy Sh---T U believe.
What, you mean like Chertoff?
"Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said the `worst may well be over'"
Greenspan, do us all a favor and shut the f*ck up! And keep your ugly face out of public view!
"Yeah, sounds like you really have a grasp of why the bulk of the Islamic world disdains the U.S."
Sam cliche from the radical left, over and over again!
Since you seem to have a good grasp, why don't you explain why they hate us? Answer: because you can't; you just like to recite the cliche without having the slightest idea of what you hare talking about.
BTW -- using your leftist logic, should the Jew have understood why the Nazis hated them?
You leftists are so amusing. As bad a George Bush is, you still can't get the mojority of America so support your insanity.
:The federal budget estimate for the fiscal year just completed dropped to $250 billion:
Hogwash. Go to "public debt to the penny" and you'll find that the national debt increased by 574 Billion Dollars.
This is the same thing people said about...
Carter...
Reagan...
Bush...
Clinton...
Bush...
It's said about every sitting president. This is nothing new.
So what was Clinton's popularity rating when he left office?
As bad a George Bush is, you still can't get the mojority of America so support your insanity.
33%. I don't think that's a majority of anything. He stole the 2000 election and most probably the 2004 election as well. He uses the word democracy whenever he can. The US democratic system is a laughing stock.
Go look up the work Gerrymander, and work out how you win elections with less than 50% support. Infact, here is a start for the mentally retardard fascists out there.

You missed my point. It's obvious that the majority of Americans DON'T support George Bush mainly due to his failed economic policies, the disaster in Iraq, and the fact that he is a chronic liar. I'm just stating that even though Bush ratings are very low, that does not mean people are going to fall for radical left-wing (not mainstream liberal) arguments that suggest we must understand why Muslims hates us. Frankly, I don't care why people who act like savages over some g-d d-mn cartoon in a Danish newspaper hate us. I just want them kept out of this country.
Uhhhhh, Duhhhhhhhhhhhh, YES!
And there is the problem with your argument. It's not all Muslims who hate us (which is suggested by your previous statement though you don't declare it directly), just the far right radical ones. And who has done the most to swell their ranks... GWB.
Believe you me, I would like to see the end of radical religion whatever its form as much as the next guy, (I am agnostic bordering on atheistic). But I do not tar any one religion with a label.
The radical Muslims who protest over a silly cartoon are no better than the Americans who seem to take joy in sprouting phrases like... “kill them all”. Sounds like the same sort of rhetoric to me.
