If I had an employee to used his position to enrich himself, while causing my organization to suffer disrepute, I'd fire his ass in a second, then sue for damages. Instead, the NAR keeps marching him out there as their mouthpiece and star attraction.
I guess that shows you who the NAR really is.
Here's the corrupt David Lereah's latest gems, to a room full of 4,000 hungry and desperate realtors in New York:
"This isn't a party with no hangover," he said.
In three to six months, the transition from a seller's market to a buyer's market will be complete and buyers who have been "chomping at the bit" to get back in will jump-start a rebound, he predicted.
"We will experience a short price drop over the next six months, but every time it goes down it will bring thousands and thousands of buyers back into the marketplace," Lereah said.
"This is not a prolonged, deep recession," Lereah said.

You know what it is amazing. There is always a Sucker out there. Mortgage apps are up 2% this month. But over priced areas such as Orange County see sales down by 30%. I guess that if you are a seller you have to be lucky enough to find some fool out there. But the majority is finally waking up. Every day they are talking about the real estate crash on TV. So once again David you are wrong. This will be a long and devastating crash. Especially in CA,NV,AZ,FL,DC,NY and Boston.
