Unfortunetly the 40% off mortgage payments is only for the first year. Nowhere on that sheet does it say that. More deception from the housing industrial complex. Thanks for the link Keith.

This is a really sad, sick attempt to keep houses prices high and trap you into paying for it forever. What next?
The number of foreclosures in our area has skyrocketed. I normally receive 1-2 pre-forclosure notices a month. In August, we had 34 pre-foreclosure notices. Things are getting weirder.

The wheels are starting to come off the bus.. A reporter was attacked by a couple for reporting on a housing scam.

AN DIEGO, California (AP) -- A television reporter investigating a suspected real estate scam was attacked by a woman and her husband, who punched and tackled him as a cameraman videotaped the incident.
Reporter John Mattes of Fox 6 News said he was treated for cracked ribs, bite wounds and cuts to his face after the confrontation Tuesday. The couple, identified by authorities as Assad "Sam" Suleiman, 36, and his wife, Rosa Amelia Barraza, 33, were arrested.
"He had his fingers in my eye socket. He was ripping my face apart. He was pulling my ears. He was biting," Mattes told NBC's "Today" show Thursday. "It was horrifying, and it felt pretty bad."
The television footage shows Mattes and XETV cameraman Dennis Waldrop talking to a man outside a La Jolla area home when a woman arrives and starts screaming at the reporter: "Why are you doing this?" and "Stop it!" She throws water from a bottle at the pair and strikes Mattes in the face with the plastic container.
A man, identified by Fox 6 News as Suleiman, then gets out of a car and punches Mattes in the face and head and puts him in a headlock.

I seen this on the news last night, not only would I have knocked that bitch out when she hit me with that bottle, I would have beat the living shit out of the guy who came out of the car, and the best part it would have been caught on tape for the world to see.

You're wrong dude. If it was me, I can take a punch and go after one of their properties. Oh, wait, I think those properties were illegally bought. Well, I'll join you and kick the shit out of them. Too bad that media guy doesn't know how to fight huh. That round house punch would have been easy to block and I would give me a qucik and hard right hook in the kidney area. The rest will follow.
Neither of them looked like great fighters, but I wonder if the reporter isn't better off in court for not ever having struck anyone. He took one for channel 9, too, because they probably could be liable. I'd probably have done no better because it happened so fast. Also the reporter was holding a mic. He might have attemtped to throw his assailant, or at least break his grip, but by then the crew guy had piled on. Mind-blowing chutzpah on the part of the felonious couple.
