Is this the part of the real estate cycle where people start selling everything not bolted down to make their ever-increasing house payment?

A good gauge of the bear market can be seen on this webpage.

Ebay is usually pretty dead during the summer. Not much good used stuff for sale until fall. Kids are back in school, parents are back from vacation, time to cruise ebay. NOT THIS SUMMER!
The categories that I usually watch have been loaded all summer.
More selection than I have ever seen! Newbies placing adds with wrong descriptions, wrong spellings, wrong categories, just trying to unload everything, and the prices are dirt cheap if you know how to refine your searches.

ha ha, I'd offer the guy 320K to take it off his hands and cut his debt in half.

Can people not make the simple connection?

800,000 dollars <-> Small house in Tempe

Why not negotiate a long rate at the Hilton resort and spa in Scottsdale for $100 per night.

For $800,000 your family could then live at the hotel with room service for 21 YEARS!

blah ha ha ha!

oh sorry, its actually 22 YEARS!

and with the property tax, heating, water bill savings you can order room service 5 nights a week!

Ha ha ha ha it is absolutly amazing...people are going 800K into debt all over America...

Let me spell that out for you idiots:

Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars

You owe me eight hundred thousand dollars with interest!

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Damm the more I think about it the funnier it gets..I'm going to be laughing myself to sleep....

For that 800,000 you just borrowed you why not go retire in Tailand and live like a king for the next 100 years. LOL

I enjoy going to auctions. Since about April of this year, I've noticed that fewer people are attending and lower bids. This area went from hot, hot housing market to foreclosures and houses being sold through auctions. The recession is here.
