HP'ers around the globe - respond here with your location

On the recent "where are we in the cycle" thread, I was amazed at the diversity of where posters were from. So let's show the world (and those 2012 Harvard MBA's who will be reading the historical posts of this blog) where you're from.

Me: London, formerly of Phoenix Arizona

Welcome all to HP! I hope this little blog made a difference in somebody's life.

Well, my short unscientific conclusion:

Biggest surprise: Canberra, Australia.

Most folks responding from the U.S. are from the the 'Blue' areas if you know what I mean. This includes Blue areas in the Red states.

'Red' area folks don't seem to visit this blog at all.... hmmmm....?

Expception: San Diego-- one of the few Red areas in a Blue state.

San Diego,CA, in Randy "Cha-ching I'm a congressman" former district.

Owning but at 2000 prices, and 25% down at the beginning. Now 5.25%/30 fixed.

That's the good news.

Bad news is that wife and I are unemployed. And we're both far too overeducated, myself with hard science PhD in a non-commercial field.

I can't wait to see the bubble implode except for the bad effects on the general job market.

My shorts on PHM, BZH, and JOE have been outweighted by my losses on metals. I still think there's a long term future in uranium and oil.
