If you're one of these, you're not gonna like HousingPanic

1) A closed minded person
2) Someone blinded by partisianship - Democrat or Republican
3) A corrupt member of the Real Estate Industrial Complex
4) Someone who believes certain subjects should not be discussed (i.e. Immigration)
5) A person who only reads information that reinforces your hard-set viewpoint (i.e. most Fox News viewers)
6) A person who thinks the president is doing a bang-up job
7) Someone who thinks Hillary is the best thing ever
8) Someone who doesn't believe in settled science like evolution, the expanding universe and the big bang (i.e. an idiot)
9) A person who believes the mainstream media, the government and corporate PR flacks
10) Bob Toll, David Lereah, Alan Greenspan, Dick Cheney or the Mainstream Media

President IS doing a bang-up job. Banged up the budget, world standing, did to conservatism what democrats have been trying to do for decades; bang it up.

Actually this is also the most annoying thing I read here. It's like complaining about the weather. There's nothing you can do about it now and it's going to change.

So what? What did you say that I didn't know already?

Ok – Ok! I just want to say something; yes FOX News is a conservative run network. And it was just about time considering NBC, CBS, ABC and CNN are all run by a bunch of lefties!

FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN

Some trashier than others, but all trash nonetheless

Yeah, that Jack Welch is such a lefty!

At board meetings, he was always going on and on about how it's time for the oppressed masses to rise up, put the bourgeoisie against the wall, and sieze ownership of the means of production.

People got tired of hearing it, but they never said anything, lest he loudly denounce them as kulaks and capitalist lackeys and send them to the re-education camp, like he did to Richard Pyncheon-Crossthwaite III when he suggested that maybe Trotsky's theory of permanent revolution should be reconsidered.

Ole Jack is very serious about his Leftism!

>>>While you are arguing, FOX makes BIG money because their audience has the deepest pockets.

The Medellin drug cartel makes a lot of money, too.

I like Fox news, I like to hear what both sides say, and make up my own mind. I also like blogs, podcasts, newspapers and magazines.

I really like this blog because it is dealing with the truth about the bubble. I had someone the other day trying to tell that they were going to buy a 500k condo here in soCal. What kind of loan I asked, IO of course, no money down. I then asked what if your condo is worth 300k at the end of the 7 or 9 years, they said they would just refi into another IO, I then asked what they would do if interest rates were at 15% ? They told me I "just didn't get it". I told them they were right.

btw, I love Fox News - my favorite news channel by far.

but unlike a lot of their audience, I turn the channel

Fox News listeners still believe that Saddam Hussein was behind 911...how ignorant can it get? The local Fox news is all crime scene and fear-baiting stuff. Ignorant.

Outsourcethegovernment -- what do CNN or MSNBC viewers believe? Are they getting unbiased reports from real journalists? Please help me out here. Both networks have had scandals far worse than the one you mentioned at FOX.

Fox News' ratings are up because people tune TVs to the programming it offers. CNN and MSNBC are in the tank because their news programming is crappola.

Oh for those golden days when Lynne Russell rulled...

Fox is not a conservative antidote to ABC, CNN, CBS. The other news channels may be staffed with a disproportionate number of left of center people (it's one of those professions that have a center of gravity on one side of the spectrum, just as parts of the business world or military, say, lean more to the right). But the crucial difference, and Fox will never ever own up to this, is that mainstream journalists believe in journalism and the ethic of nonpartisan coverage. Conservative rants on Fox (or talk radio, etc) lambast the "liberal media" but it was that same liberal media that took the piss out of Clinton for Whitewater (which turned out to be nothing) and Monica Lewinsky (a trist in the Oval Office, so what). You will never see Fox take on the Bush administration in any serious way, because they regard the Bush administration as being "on the same team." Or, if you're an optimist, you might believe that eventually Fox News editors and journalists will feel a dawning sense of themselves as journalists first, conservatives second, and evolve toward a more independent approach to news coverage. Could happen. For the time being, the bias of Fox's coverage is so flagrant that it is actually entertaining to watch.

BTW, Cote, if I want to post anonymous that's what I'll do and you can deal with it.

Anyone see on the Daily Show last night that Tony Snow of FNC is being bantered about for the WH press secretary job? Can you imagine that? Stewart had a great quote--"Imagine the Whtie House PAYING someone at FNC to tell the American public what they want them to hear..."Hell, they do it for free!

A person who only reads information that reinforces your hard-set viewpoint (i.e. most Fox News viewers)

Yet you idiot lefties love to read the Times, and watch CNN, and all the network news shows. That makes sense. Very slanted Kieth.

Do you honestly think that the corporate media are leftist? If so, you do not have the slightest idea what the word "leftist" means.

Here's a clue: there is a leftist media in this country, and it's Mother Jones, The Nation, The Progressive, and a few other publications. It's most assuredly not the corporate crap that 99% of this country thinks is journalism.
