Judging from his appearance, a massive coronary is going to finish him off long before he's able to spend the money.

People need to start carpooling. I'm sick of the idiots who commute 2 hours and won't carpool. They are the same ones complaining about gas prices.

Our little boy is four years old and quite a little man
So we spell out the words we don't want him to understand
Like T-O-Y or maybe S-U-R P-R-I-S-E
But the words we're hiding from him now
Tear the heart right out of me.

Our D-I-V-O-R-C-E; becomes final today
Me and little J-O-E will be goin' away
I love you both and it will be pure H-E double L for me
Oh, I wish that we could stop this D-I-V-O-R-C-E.

the red suspenders set refuses to admit things other than market cyclicals affect indices. High oil pushes up commodities. High commodities pushes up oil. Long term (like permanent) shortages of both are due to overpopulation, that aint going away.

Oil Supplies are near there record when oil sold for $10 per barrel.

Some crazy shit going on here. Everytime Oil is about to crash Bush starts another war.

Traders hear the war crys and trade oil to new records. Suppliers try their best to pump as much as they can to make the easy buck.

What happens when we run out of places to put the oil?

Wifey advice ...

Yea, it's hard to get her on the budget program. Men are confident creatures by nature; women need to buy things to make themselves feel better.

Ultimately, she must understand that YOU will WALK OUT that door if you don't both jointly get your finances straight. This is especially crucial for parents.

If she realizes it's that important to you, she'll get with the program. If that threat is not enough, she probably wants you out anyway ... so grant her her wish!

Good luck, husbands!!!

Hello Silverisgood. It's me, the "Anonymous" you temporarily got made at last week concerning Dell.

The d-I-V-O-R-C-E thing posted above is just Tammy Wynette's song written by Bobby Braddock and Curley Putman. The "Anonymous" who posted it is apparently a goof.

You must be a nice person. Sorry that THAT "Anonymous" took advantage.

I meant "mad at," not "made at."

Re: "female trouble"... you did it to yourself, by marrying a girl who is more into spending and looking good than she is into saving and looking toward the future. But I'm sure she's really cute, and looks good on your arm when you go out with friends.

Not all women are spenders and shoppers. I'm a huge saver. I buy only what I NEED. The last piece of clothing I bought was a $6 t-shirt at Wallyworld. I also shop at thrift stores, and I even wear clothing I found in, GASP, the trash! (well, ok, not IN the trash, but in a bag sitting next to the dumpster :-) )

Men, choose your women well!

Amen, c in abq.

You must have known she was a shopaholic before you married her right? So does that make you an enabler?

Soon you will be able to buy rolls of $100 bills to use as toilet paper, and special wound $1000 bills to use for lighting a cigar. I personally find it hilarious in a Kafka kind of way, for the way "volatile anergy and food" costs are not included in inflation statistics. Who really needs those non-essentials anyway?
