Like a stock going from $38 to $34.5?

Not a huge deal.

What is a bigger deal:

With 30 bond out, yield curve is completely inverted.

What is so valuable about Google?

Chaos: Don't forget it topped at 470.
Will it keep going and break 300, and 200? The P/E needs to get realistic.

I think it's fairly valued about $90.

The p/e is all out of whack.

hey fewlesh, that was a cool post. we're waayyyy off housing bubble topic right now, but que sera

I wonder if 1000 years from now then, they'll look back at the founding of google as the most important thing to happen to the human race?

There was some movie (terminator? robocop?) when they looked back and it was some company who came out with some thing and that is what caused everything - ring any bells?

Take it all the way out - say 10000 years - and perhaps it's google that then creates the universe? and larry and sergey and google and time and space...

hmmmm...

or maybe not

what is important to note though is likely never before has such human brain capital been collected in a company. HP in its day, IBM in its day, but now we're in our day, and they're at Google, and we're smarter now.
