Question for readers: Do you know anybody, ANYBODY, who is out there looking for or buying houses still today?

I can tell you I don't know a soul who is considering buying a house right now. Nobody looking, nobody buying.

I know a LOT of people who are considering selling.

But there has to be someone out there who is buying. Right?

Greetings from Columbus, OH. Don't know whether we're in a bubble here or not, but homes are selling. In fact, mine is for sale and we have 2 showings today, so people *are* looking, and other homes on my street have sold in the last 30 days.

I live in ocean/monmouth NJ. I'm looking because I smell blood in the water and I'm searching for desparate sellers to throw low-balls at.

I was planning on buying until someone told me to go to this site!
It stopped me dead in my tracks! I did'nt know their was a bubble when I sold my house in october/05.
Now I'm in a rental, my money in the bank, reading about the house bubble everyday. only time will tell, but I think this site saved my a$$.

one word folks - patience. even a low ball bid may look high in a few months

to the seller - good luck, but expect to have that thing on the market for quite some time and welcome to the wonderful world of "new reduction"

keep us posted with your sale - and log in

Sold my house last August and started renting. Now I'm a 'bubble sitter.' Looking to buy, but it has to be a special house and I'm going to pay what I want for it, not what someone's neighbor got last summer. Many owners are in complete denial that housing prices can go down, so I won't buy from them. Their houses are going to stay on the market for a looooooooooooooong time.
