HousingPANIC Quote of the Day - Special Bear Stearns / Jim Cramer Edition

Question: Should I be worred about BSC, in terms of liquidity, and get my money out of there?

Cramer: "No, no, no! BSC is fine! Do not take your money out... If there's one takeaway on a plus-400 day... BSC is not in trouble. I mean, if anything, they're more likely to be taken over. Don't move your money from BSC! That's just being silly! Don't be silly!"

- Jim Cramer, March 11, 2008

  14. Cramer is a dumbass. Any man that runs and rolls around, in front of a camera, hollering, spitting and booyahing, needs his ass kicked into the local insane asylum. I agree that jail would be too good for this dumbass.

  15. Um, was he saying keep your money in the stock? Sounded to me like he was saying it's OK to keep your account with BSC, not to keep invested in it.

  16. I'm convinced Jim 'shill'cramer is going to be off the air very soon.

The message board bloggers over on Yahoo finance are pointing their fingers directly at HIM.

  17. Anyone remember Cramer barking (as in auctioneer) that GOOG was a buy at $700.00 a share!?

I have been saying this forever...Cramer is inmoral, he needs to go!

  18. Does anybody know what his compounded return was as a hedge fund manager? Because outside of the fact that he's apparantly rich and he sweats like a gorilla, I have no idea how he got his job.

The idea that he brags about having shallow opinions on 2,000 stocks is about the most cynical, sinister, and least credible thing about him.

  19. and what does Cramer's support of Ron Paul suggest?

  20. Yo Cramer!

    How's that crow tasting?

  21. I've said it a million times before. Cramer is an idiot. He tries to look smart sometimes by saying to sell homes, than he comes out again on his show and says it's time to buy. What a jerk. What a freaking jerk.

    Cramer, you are a looser.

    What difference does it make?
Either way, he's wrong. That makes him double dumb.

  23. Keith,

On Friday he was flipping out on MSNBC again. He was freaking out. I have no doubt he was taking a beating. Takke that you f*&ker.

  24. Why would you want to keep your money in a bank that you have no idea where it's going to be 2 business days later.

Cramer is a jackass no matter how you put it.

  28. After the fall of the market, make sure this guy is on the list for prosecution. No escape! He needs to go to jail. Remember, he is out of real estate, he got out first. Same for stocks, he will get out first., while telling everyone else not to panic. He needs to be noted, followed and arrested before he goes to South America or something.

  29. President Bush, trying to calm turmoil in financial markets after a dramatic weekend, declared Monday that his administration is “on top of the situation” and dealing decisively with the slumping economy.

This President is trusted around the world and his administration has shown the ability to handle any world crisis!

    Iraq perfect example of success.

After he speaks I want to invest in the stock market.

    Don't you ?

You will see a dramatic turn around now that Bush has turned his attention to this problem.

    Regards

Seriously, why had this feeble-minded a-hole not been impeached and removed from office yet?

On top of that, he and all of his cronies should be tried and convicted for treason.

Cramer doesn't really support Ron Paul.

    _____

Don't recall, but it was good.

But he was trading/investing during an era when any bozo could buy stocks, and, given enough capital, make hundreds of millions. A chimp could have bought stocks in the 90s and gotten rich.

  38. It does my heart & soul so much good to see them talking lawsuits. It is such a grand spectacle watching these morally corrupt leeches turn on each other. I would love to see the whole putrid, stinking bunch of them in The Colliseum standing tall with their Blackberries & Trios, trying to get that last trade in, as the lions circle to eat them feet first while we all cheer and eat hot dogs.

  39. "Cramer doesn't really support Ron Paul."

I don't think he does either; I seem to see Hillary postings on his website and, emotionally, they're both ragers.

  40. Busted like a ripe water melon got squashed down by an 18-wheeler truck !

Worse than the fate of the Roasted Snapper Turtle !

So, "The Few, The Proud, The Snapper Turtle", Semper Fi or whatever the crap that is, how are you going to save this albusto land ?

    -----

The Americano Housing Bubble has revealed the true anatomy of the Americano Australopithecus specie. And what that anatomy amounts to is a heap of putrid, rotten to the core, maggot filled, rat chewing pile of garbage.

Greed, Ignorance, Irresponsibility, Laziness, Materialistic-Craze, Hoity-Toity attitudes are all part of the Americano rotted anatomy, stinky gut.

How a fat-ass, obese, beer-gut, rotten teeth, putrid breath, dumb-ass Americano male driving by himself a Ford Expedition on the road, consuming 15-18 miles per gallon of gasoline is just beyond the realm of reasoning.

How a whole family of cracker-nuthead, GrandPa and GrandMa, Joe6Pack and JaneZinfandel, 6 of the spoiled-brat runny nose snotty kids swarming the Walmart aisle after aisle piling junks on the shopping cart is pure hilarious and pitiful at the same time.

How a whole family of Hicks and HillBilly chomping down on oily, greasy McDonal french fries and Wendy’s hamburger is just so resembling the scene of the bunch of hogs roosting and wallowing at the feed trough.

The Americano nation is pathetic and sinful beyond the point of redemption !

Go BIG or go ALBUSTON, Americano ! Yahoo !!!

  44. Cramer is a clown. Enjoy his antics... but don't take investment advice from him.

That said, he was on CNBC Friday morning talking about how Bear stock was a not a buy.... even down 50%. He was all red faced an looked beaten. He also went on to say Bear senior notes would be a winner.. 'Bonds not Stock' he kept saying. He was right about that.

Still, the bonds were not a risk free trade. They were a swing for the fence, and hope the fed bails you out trade.

If he was a real investor, he would have told people to stay away and buy munis or even agency bonds instead. You don't buy bonds looking for a 1 day/week pop.
