Back then, the non-British raised/educated migrants settled the midwest and their children pretty much gave up their parents' (or grandparents') culture to become mainstream. That's why many recent eastern European immigrants are shocked to realize that Slavs have been living in the US since the 1800s because they believed that they'd see more Russian or Polish-Lithuanian cities but instead, they simply find people with 'ethnic' sounding last names pointing to the old country but with little else in common. This is in stark contrast with Europe.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18675105.post-73381502133610434702008-02-16T14:44:00.000+00:002008-02-16T14:44:00.000+00:00Wow, as a Irish Swedish half-breed am I offended. ...Wow, as a Irish Swedish half-breed am I offended. All bills have dozens of co-sponsors. Co-sponsoring a bill means nothing, as does co-authoring.

Even being a sole sponsor of a bill means little - "sponsor" means you're sponsoring the bill on behalf of a paid lobbyist who actually wrote the bill, which is a far cry from authoring a bill on your own. (I wasn't sure about this so I called a friend who is a state legislator for clarification.)

The trillion-dollar UN scam bill is the only one he's authored on his own. Meaning the thought of him being able to act alone as President is downright terrifying.

I also feel for the black community if he's elected, because he's going to be a major embarrassment as President - the next Jimmy Carter - and will be an embarrassment to the black community. Like my girlfriend put it, she doesn't want Hillary to win, because having her as the first woman President would be an embarrassment to women everywhere.Frank Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07625929422222490759noreply@blogger.com
