Look it up for yourself on Sacramento real estate sites, and you will see the price is now $229,000 _ for a wonderful opportunity Casey spent $330,000 to purchase only eight months ago. He lives not far away in Sacramento, so you might think he could live there _ until you see a picture of the estate and understand why it remains unsold and sinking in price even more.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18675105.post-1167431151937618512006-12-29T22:25:00.000+00:002006-12-29T22:25:00.000+00:00I tried to post this on Casey's blog but I keep ge...I tried to post this on Casey's blog but I keep getting an error.Someone copy/paste it and post to Casey's blog if you want.

Casey; you need to go cash now!!!
I ROBBED THE BANK MYSELF DUE TO THERE ERROR in a similiar situation. I sold a house in Cali in 2005 after 6 year so I had some money in my Washington Mutual Account. 3 months after the close I get a letter from Wamu saying that I am behind on my heloc loan payment 3 months. So I call them and it turns out that they were paid the fixed portion about 50K of the heloc because in 2004 I converted the heloc to a fixed rate. After converting to fixed I used up some more of the heloc making the last few mortgage payments and living on due to being laid off before I sold the house. The escrow company received the payoff statements from WAMU and the escrow co paid that amount. It turns out that the bank made an error b/c they didn't provide them the separate loan number that the furlough they call it generated after using the heloc after the conversion.

So now I had a 10K balance that was unsecured. So then I called the escrow company and they said that it's the bank's error but they can't make you pay it since you don't own the house anymore. SO I IMMEDIATELY WALKED INTO THE WAMU BANK AND "CLOSED MY CHECKING AND MONEY MARKET ACCOUNTS. DROVE TO ANOTHER BANK AND DEPOSITED IT THERE.

Now they stopped harrasing me and did a charge off on my credit report took me down about 50 points to 650 fico. oh well a small price to pay for 10 grand. They can never make me pay it and eventually it will fall off my credit. Besides with plenty of cash in my savings the last thing I want to do is get credit anyways.
