A note to any reader who uses foul language, racist language, sexual content or is closed minded

I'm sure Fox News, the KKK or the flat earth society have blogs too

Keep it clean, be logical with your arguments, be civil toward each other, and let's work together to expose the truth

And for the record, wanting every illegal immigrant forcibly removed from the country isn't racist. It's the law.

Cheers

Bravo Keith!!!Well said.

Keith - you cannot deny that you have fanned the fire with your comments.

Why would you post the Dutch cartoon in a housing blog?

Why would you say "we need to destroy the Islamist movement, and anyone associated with it"?

Why would you associate Mexicans with crime?

This blog has taken a very hateful tone....I would have thought that moving to Europe would have made you more tolerant (not less tolerant).

Thank you Keith! For not only asking for civility, but also writing the truth about illegal aliens putting an extreme burden on the social services that citizen taxpayers assume responsibility for. I'm sick to death of hearing the lame argument that if you want stricter immigration laws, you must be racist!

I hope they deport you Keith, that would be fitting given your extreme hateful opinions. Your second rate bubble blog has nothing to new to offer. There are a number of much better blogs on this topic, none of them post hateful comments calling for genocide and forced removal. You are certainly the most biggoted and hateful bubble blogger out there. Shame on you.

...because, as everybody knows, Fox News is as racist as the KKK. Q.E.D.

Nice logic there, Keith.

You know, I agree with you first and foremost on the housing bubble; on the need for immigration reform (and not immigration surrender, a.k.a. amnesty, a.k.a. guest worker provisions); and on the need to eradicate the islamist movement. And STILL you manage to piss me off with your innane statements. It's enough to make me think I'm wrong about the things we agree on.

Sean Hannity is a racist who spew's hatred to everyone he encounters!

I don't have a problem with tighter immigration laws and border security.

I do have a problem with proposed solutions (forced removal) that ignore the reality that the U.S. people, businesses and government have acquiesced to illegal immigration for decades. Some have been outspoken over the years on immigration but no one has done anything about it. We certainly could have if we truly wanted to.

To throw in an on-topic note, by some estimates 40% of the workers involved in home construction are "guest workers". Just think, if we send them back we might see real estate agents marching in protests. Oh the humanity!

I would put GW Bush just above Peanuts Carter

Worst Presidents since 1900:
1. Carter
2. Bush II
3. Bush I

No foul language, rude jokes, or sex? Man, you take the fun out of it.

wow, keith. heckuva housing bubble thread you've got going here. flame posts, racial insults, fox news obsessiveness, yep... you've attracted quite a crew here.

i usually read ben's blog, but i check this one out once in a while for a more irreverent perspective. but there's a line between irreverent and asinine, and i think you've crossed it. had a look at the commentary on fuckedcompany.com lately? you ought to check it out, because that's what this blog is going to be in a few months.

it was a good blog, keith, and you can be a humorous guy. too bad you're letting it go to hell.

this blog is going down. :-(

I'm sure ABC News, CNN, NBC, CBS and the KKK or the flat earth society have blogs too. How it relates to the Housing Bubble?
Go back to the real issues...

I've been trying to figure you out, Keith. I'm beginning to think you're a kook. The bubble topic is pretty mainstream now and your blog is rapidly deteriorating. I'll be stopping by less and less...

I believe we should start with the illegal alien 'Mexican Problem'.
These criminals should be forced to leave if that means SS style house searches or whatever else is required to restore the laws.
And another thing-this has nothing to do with liberal or conservative, so those who think they are liberal-stop harping on that tune. It does not fly.
How about right and wrong as in STATUTES?
As far as your govt is concerned, remember your dissatisfaction come 4/15. Enough said. Act accordingly.

All of you who are so quick to allege racism "just" because you don't like hearing anything that reflects adversely on a particular race of people are actually making it more acceptable to be called a racist.

Your unfounded and excessive use of that word has rendered it far less objectionable because it has now come to be defined as "a person who speaks ill of another person or group of persons for reasons unrelated to their race, but who just happen to be of another race"

The racists of the world thank you for watering down the meaning of this word and making it more acceptable to be a real racist ; )

Jews did kill Jesus and this is a fact which somehow Jewish propganda machines have tried to hide in modern times but the fact remains a fact.

"Jews did kill Jesus and this is a fact which somehow Jewish propganda machines have tried to hide in modern times but the fact remains a fact."

Rubbish. The Jesus story is a recycled version of the myths of Mithra and Zoroaster, with a touch of Osiris thrown in for good measure. Here are some classics, none written by Jews or conspiracy crackpots, that might enlighten you. All are easily obtained today at affordable prices, or free from any public library via inter-library loans.

"The Golden Bough. A Study in Magic & Religion" by Sir James George Frazer (originally published in two vols. in 1890, then expanded to thirteen vols. in 1932; today available in one or two volume editions)

"The World's Sixteen Crucified Saviors" by Kersey Graves (first published in 1874)

"Pagan Christs: Studies in Comparative Hierology" by J.M. Robertson (first published in 1903)

"The Unauthorized Version: Truth and Fiction in the Bible" by Robin Lane Fox (first published 1991)

"Jesus: Son of Man" by Rudolf Augstein, with an introduction by Gore Vidal (first published 1977)

You might also want to read the Buddhist scriptures to discover the origin of the parable of the mustard seed and at least one prayer falsely attributed to Jesus. If you want to track down the mythology of the Old Testament, I suggest you start with anything by Joseph Campbell.

To hate Jews based on a fictional account is not intelligent, especially since Jesus himself was supposed to have been Jewish. Where is the logic?????

My work on this one is done - if I've managed to make the left and the right both uncomfortable and mad at the blog. The left thinks I'm sean hannity, the right thinks I'm pimping for Air America.

It's called being reasoned folks. Speaking the truth. Being impartial. It's something that if more Americans would be, then we could address the issues that are destroying our country.

Until then, we have a country where people yell at each other on TV for sport. A country that personalizes political arguments. A paralized country where nothing gets done. A country run by a corrupt political elite who fan the flames of partisan hatred and religious bigotry in order to control an ignorant population.

And a country that is going to implode financially upon the house of cards upon which it is built.

Pop.

So for the angry HP readers, take a look inward, and challenge yourself and your beliefs.

Democrats - are you satisfied with your party's leadership? Can you support, or even identify, where they stand as a party? On anything?

Republicans - who is your party lately? The party of big government, big spending, big corruption and incompetent foreign policy. Is that the Republican party you remember?

Independents - no need to challenge yourselves. You figured it out. Congrats!

And finally folks, I write this blog for you, the readers. But this isn't a "here's another story with no commentary about the housing bubble" blog. If you want that, read Ben's snoozer or any of the 100 others.

This is the funny, sarcastic, irreverant and challenging bubble blog. If reading it doesn't make you uncomfortable, if it doesn't make you uneasy about where we're heading, then I'm not doing my job.

Because, as you can see, we're screwed. Unless we do something about it.

Now rise up.

Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) Wednesday, March 29, 2006 10:23:47 PM -- Leading bubble blog HousingPanic, the self-declared definitive source on the US Housing Bubble has officially jumped the shark.

"The HousingPanic blog has been documenting and discussing the theoretical US housing bubble, including discussions of previous manias, panics and crashes, reporting of statistical housing data, and the review of factors contributing to a potential bubble.....but now focuses on insulting people of all color and takes no responsibility for the resulting firestorm," said Keith B., publisher of http://HousingPanic.Blogspot.com.

Keith - racism, bigotry, and wishing death to Islams and forced segregation and deportation of illegal immigrants is neither funny, sarcastic, irreverant or challenging.

It shows your ignorance.
